Kerana di tengah-tengahnya terdapat bangunan Ka'abah yang menjadi kiblat untuk umat Islam seluruh dunia menghadap ketika bersolat! Bangunan ini dibina oleh Nabi Ibrahim AS lebih 3,000 tahun lalu.

Because right in the middle lies the building of Ka'abah which is the focal point for Muslims all over the world to face to when praying! The building was erected by prophet Abraham AS more than 3,000 years ago.

Di Taman Tamadun Islam juga terdapat replika Masjid Nabawi di Madinah.


At the Taman Tamadun Islam also lies a replica of the Nabawi mosque in Madinah.



Untuk makluman, ia adalah masjid kedua paling suci bagi umat Islam.

Mula-mula baca sejarahnya...

First, read the history...

Inilah replika Qubah as Sakrah atau kubah batu di Palestin.

This is a replica of the Qubah as Sakrah or the dome of the rock in Palestine.

Ia adalah satu-satunya replika masjid atau monumen di Taman Tamadun Islam yang boleh dimasuki orang!

It is the one and only replica of a mosque or a monument in Taman Tamadun Islam where people could enter in!

Manakan tidak? Jika replika-replika lain dibina pada skala kurang 1/8 dimensi bangunan asal, replika Qubah as Sakrah ini dibina pada skala 1/4. Lihat. Siap ada replika batu di dalamnya, batu yang dikatakan cuba mengikut Rasulullah SAW naik ke langit dalam peristiwa Israq dan Mikhraj... yang membawa kepada nama tempat ini, kubah batu.

Why not? If all the other replicas were built at a scale of least then 1/8th the original building's dimension, the replica of the Qubah as Sakrah here was built at a scale of 1/4. Look. There's even a replica of the rock inside, the rock which is said to have tried to follow Rasulullah (prophet Muhammad) SAW going up the heavens in the Israq and Mikhraj (the magical night jouney of the prophet)... hence the name of the building, the dome of rock.

Skala 1/4 bermakna tiang asal tepian setinggi sekitar 24 kaki dijadikan setinggi 6 kaki pada replika ini. Cukup selesa untuk kebanyakan orang dewasa berlegar-legar di sekitarnya.

The 1/4th scale means the pillars on the sides which originally stands at around 24 feet tall or so is made to be at 6 feet for the replica. Comfortable enough for most adults to walk around it.
