Assalamualakum. Kini sudah hari ke 11 kita menyambut bulan Syawal maka saya mahu memulakan satu siri baru berdasarkan perjalanan menaiki motosikal besar yang dibuat lebih 2 minggu lalu. Mari... :]
Peace be upon you all. Now it has been 11 days since we celebrate the (Muslim festive) month of Syawal thus I want to start a new series based on trip by riding big bike which was made more than 2 weeks ago. Come... :]
Perjalanan dimulakan Sabtu 11 Ogos dengan menaiki Bukit Fraser dari Kuala Kubu Baru kemudian turun ke Raub, Pahang. Di Raub saya pergi ke Kampung Sempalit di mana terdapat makam seorang tokoh bernama Raja Billah.
The trip was started Saturday 11th Ogos by riding up the Fraser's Hill from Kuala Kubu Baru then going down to Raub, Pahang. In Raub I went to Kampung (village of) Sempalit where lies the tomb of figure named Raja Billah.
Nama Raja Billah juga sering dieja Bilah. Beliau adalah ketua orang Mandailing yang sangat terkenal kerana mengusahakan bijih timah di Perak penghujung abad ke 19 Masihi.
The name Raja Billah is also spelt Bilah. He was a head of the Mandailing people who was very famous for producing tin ore in Perak at the end of the 19th century AD.
Raja Billah adalah anak saudara seorang lagi tokoh besar Mandailing bernama Raja Asal. Lihat Makam

Dikatakan orang Mandailing banyak terlibat dalam perang dan politik di negeri Selangor dan Perak sebelum tokoh-tokoh seperti Raja Billah dan Raja Asal menumpukan perhatian terhadap perniagaan.
It is said the Mandailing people were often involved in war and politics in the states of Selangor and Perak before figures like Raja Billah and Raja Asal gave their concentration to business.

(House of) Raja Bilah. Ada yang percaya beliau meninggal dunia dan dimakamkan di sana. Ada pula percaya beliau akhirnya membawa diri ke Raub lalu bersemadi di Kampung Sempalit.
