Di halaman hadapan masjid terdapat sebuah tanah perkuburan lama.

At the front lawn of the mosque there exists an old burial ground.

Dalam masjid menghadap kubur pula terdapat sebuah makam.

Inside the mosque facing the cemetery in turn lies a tomb.

Ada yang percaya ini makam Nakhoda Intan, pengasas Batu Uban.

There are those who believe this is the tomb of Nakhoda Intan, founder of Batu Uban.

Ada pula percaya ini adalah makam seorang keturunannya...

In turn there are those who believe this is the tomb of one of his descendant...

Seterusnya saya ke Batu Uban lalu singgah di masjid lamanya.

Ia dikatakan dibuka 1734 menjadikannya masjid tertua di Pulau Pinang.

It is said to have been opened 1734 making it the oldest mosque in Pulau Pinang.

Dari Bayan Lepas saya ke selatan lalu terlihat masjid ini.

From Bayan Lepas I went to the south and saw this mosque.

Ada tulisan menunjukkan tahun 1327 Hijrah yang bersamaan 1909 Masihi. Nampak ini tahun masjid dibuka.

There is a writing showing the year 1327 Hijriah which is equivalent to 1909 AD. Looks like this is the year the mosque was opened.

Noon on Sunday, 29th December 2013 I went to this mosque.

Ia adalah masjid jamek di Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang. Saya ada mesyuarat di sini.

It is the main mosque of Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang. I had a meeting here.

Masjid ini memiliki bangunan lama yang lebih berseni, bersambung dengan bangunan baru yang lebih moden.

This mosque has an old building which is more artful, attached to a new building which is more modern.

Ia adalah Masjid Bagan Air Hitam. Kami bersiap di sini sebelum ke majlis.

It is the mosque of Bagan Air Hitam. We got ready here before going to the function.

Pagi Sabtu 28 Disember, selepas bermalam di Bagan Dalam saya singgah di masjid ini.

Saturday morning 28th December, after spending the night at Bagan Dalam I stopped by at this mosque.

As usual I then went looking inside...
