Ahad 7 Disember. Selepas bermalam di sebuah pusat peranginan di Desaru, saya, isteri dan seorang kawan pergi ke Tanjung Belungkor untuk mencari sebuah makam.
Sunday 7th December. After spending a night at a resort in Desaru, me, wife and a friend went to Tanjung Belungkor to look for a tomb.
Kami harus meredah hutan lereng bukit sekitar sebatu untuk sampai ke makam ini.
We have to trek inside a hill-side jungle for about a mile to get to this tomb.
Ini adalah batu nesan lama bahagian kepala makam.
This is the old wood marker for the tomb's head section.

Beliau adalah seorang pahlawan Melayu yang gigih menentang campur tangan British di Johor sekitar 1830an. Disebabkan itu Si Bongkok dituduh sebagai pemberontak dan lanun.
He was a Malay warrior who was tireless in fighting against the intrusion of the British in Johor around 1830s. Because of that Si Bongkok was accused as being a rebel and pirate.
