Di sebelah masjid, dalam kawasan berpagar sama, terdapat sebuah tanah perkuburan yang agak besar.

Besides the mosque, within the same walled area, there lies a rather big burial area.

Terdapat beberapa buah makam terserlah milik tokoh-tokoh penting yang pernah menetap di Taiping dan sekitarnya...

There exists a number of outstanding tombs belonging to persons of significance who have once lived in Taiping or around it...

Paling utama adalah 3 makam di tengah ini.

The most important are the 3 tombs at the centre here.

Ia adalah makam Toh Puan Halimah binti Laksamana Muhammad Amin dan dua orang anak-anak. 

These are the tombs of Toh Puan Halimah binti Laksamana Muhammad Amin and his two sons.

Mereka adalah ahli keluarga Ngah Ibrahim yang mengasaskan masjid lama Taiping.

They were members of the family of Ngah Ibrahim who founded the old mosque of Taiping.

Petang itu saya meninggalkan Pulau Pinang lalu singgah di Taiping, Perak. Sampai sahaja ke sana saya terus menuju ke masjid lamanya.

That afternoon I left Pulau Pinang and stopped by at Taiping, Perak. Upon reaching there I immediately headed to its old mosque.

Masjid ini dibina pada tahun 1893. Saya pernah membuat satu artikel tentangnya 6 tahun lalu. Lihat Masjid lama (Old mosque of) Taiping.

Sejak itu masjid ini ada diperbaiki dan dicantikkan lagi.Masuk ke dalam...

Since then the mosque has been repaired and made more beautiful. Lookig inside...

Pagi Jumaat 20 Januari 2017. Ketika berjalan-jalan di bandar raya Georgetown, Pulau Pinang saya terlihat masjid ini.

Friday morning 20th January 2017. While walking around the city of Georgetown, Pulau Pinang I caught sight of this mosque.

Namanya Masjid jamek Jalan Hatin,

Its name is Masjid jamek (Main mosque of) Jalan Hatin,
