Setelah beberapa lama menyambung kembali perjalanan ke Ranong dengan mengambil satu jalan yang dekat dengan sungai terlihatlah sebuah masjid.

After some time continuing the journey to Ranong by taking a road which is close to the river could be seen a mosque.

Masjidnya biasa sahaja. Tetapi ia yang pertama kami temui sejak meninggalkan Bangkok sehari sebelumnya...

The mosque is just a regular one. But it is the first one we found since leaving Bangkok the day before...

Kemudian baru kami dapat tahu ia adalah masjid bagi sebuah kampung Melayu yang dikenali sebagai Ban Hin Chang.

Later did we only knew it is the mosque for a Malay village which is known as Ban Hin Chang.

Ban Hin Chang itu dalam bahasa Thai. Dalam bahasa Melayu ia adalah Kampung Batu Gajah. 

Ban Hin Chang is in the Thai language. In Malay language it is Kampung (village of) Batu (stone of) Gajah (the elephant). 

Ban = Kampung, Hin = Batu, Chang = Gajah.

Ke barat daya lagi menghala ke Ranong kelihatan binaan ini.

Further south west heading for Ranong could be seen these buildings.

Ia adalah batu tanda Segenting Kra, kawasan paling sempit di sepanjang Semenanjung Tanah Melayu...

It is the marking stone of the Kra Isthmus, the most narrow place along the Malay Peninsular...

Batu didirikan kerana di sinilah jalan raya terletak paling dekat dengan sungai Segenting Kra.

The stone was erected as it is here that the road is most near to the river of Segenting Kra.

Untuk makluman sungai ini membentuk sempadan semulajadi antara negara Thailand dengan negara Myanmar ataupun Burma...

For information this river forms the natural border between the nation of Thailand and nation of Myanmar or Burma...

Dari Chumpon kami menghala ke Ranong lalu terlihat satu jalan kecil naik ke atas bukit.

From Chumpon we headed for Ranong and saw a small road leading up a hill.

Di atas bukit ada sebuah kuil...

On top of the hill there is a temple...

Namanya Wat Suwan Khiri...

Its name is Wat Suwan Khiri...

Salam semua. Masuk hari ke-8 perjalanan ke Thailand 12-23 Disember.

Peace be upon you all. On to the 8th day of the Thailand trip 12-23 December.

Pagi Selasa 19 Disember 2017. Ketika berjalan kaki di bandar Chumpon saya terlihat bangunan ini.

Tuesday morning 19 December 2017. While walking in the town of Chumpon I saw this building.

Ia adalah kuil pasak Chumpon.

It is the  pillar shrine of Chumpon.

Lebih kurang 208 km ke selatan Petchaburi saya ternampak kuil ini lalu singgah melihat ke dalam,,,

About 208 km to the south of Petchaburi I saw this temple and thus stopped by to look inside...

Menggunakan Google Map ketika menulis artikel ini saya dapat mengenal pasti kedudukan dan nama kuil...

Using Google Map while writing this article I could ascertain the position and name of this temple.
