Masjid (Mosque of) Al-Mursyidin, Proton City, Tanjung Malim

Pagi semalam saya masuk ke Proton City di Tanjung Malim lalu singgah di masjid ini.

Yesterday morning I entered Proton City in Tanjung Malim and stopped by at this mosque.

Masjidnya agak besar, sesuai dengan kedudukan Proton City sebagai bandar industri kilang kereta Proton buatan Malaysia.

The mosque is rather large fitting the position of Proton City as a industrial town for the factory of the Malaysian-made car Proton.

Kemudian baru saya sedar masjid utama Proton City terletak di bahagian lain bandar...

Then only I realised the main mosque of Proton City is located at another part of town...

Ini sebenarnya masjid untuk satu kampus UPSI (Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris) yang terletak di Proton City...

This one is actually the mosque for a campus of UPSI (Sultan Idris Education University) which is located in Proton City...

Jumaat lepas saya berada sehari suntuk di ISTAC (Institut Pemikiran Islam dan Dunia Melayu) di Bukit Tunku, Kuala Lumpur lalu menunaikan solat Jumaat di sana.

Last Friday I spent the whole day at ISTAC (Institute of Islamic Thought and Malay World) in Bukit Tunku and did the Friday prayers there.

ISTAC memiliki sebuah masjid...

ISTAC has a mosque...

Namanya Masjid Zabedah...

It's name is Masjid (mosque of) Zabedah...

Walaupun sudah beberapa kali singgah di masjid ini ia adalah kali pertama saya menunaikan solat Jumaat di sana.

Although I have been to this mosque many times it was my first time conducting the Jumaat prayers there.

Saya agak terperanjat melihat begitu ramai orang menunaikan solat Jumaat...

I was quite surprised to see so many peope conducting the Jumaat prayers....

Ini kerana setahu saya pelajar dan kakitangan ISTAC tidak berapa ramai, rasanya tak sampai 40 orang.

This is because as far as I know the students and staff of ISTAC are not so many, I think not even 40 people.

Yang meramaikan adalah para pelajar Universiti Islam Antarangbangsa Malaysia (UIAM) yang menyewa pangsapuri di sekitar ISTAC...

Making up the numbers are students of International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) who rent apartments around ISTAC...
