Namanya Masjid ar-Rafee'ah.

Its name is Masjid (mosque of) ar-Rafee'ah.

Sekitar jam 10.30 kami dibawa ke kawasan orang Melayu terbesar di Siem Reap lalu singgah di masjid ini.

Around 10.30 we were brought to the largest Malay area in Siem Reap and stopped by at this mosque.

Namanya Masjid An Neakmah.

Its name is Masjid (Mosque of) An Neakmah.

West Baray, Siem Reap

Salam semua. Saya dan keluarga baru menyelesaikan satu perjalanan pusing negara Cambodia dan Thailand. Malam ini saya mahu mula berkongsi cerita tentang perjalanan itu.

Peace be upon you all. Me and family recently completed a trip around the countries of Cambodia and Thailand. Tonight I want to start sharing stories on the trip.

Kami sampai ke Cambodia sekitar jam 8.10 pagi waktu tempatan dengan penerbangan ke bandar  raya Siem Reap. Sebaik sahaja mendapat kenderaan darat saya meminta dibawa ke suatu tempat yang dikenali sebagai West Baray.

We arrived in Cambodia at around 8.10 in the morning local time by flight to the city of Siem Reap. As soon as we got land transport I asked to be brought to a place known as the West Baray.

Ia merujuk kepada suatu bendungan air yang dibina pada abad ke-11 Masihi. Letaknya ke barat  laut lapangan terbang Siem Reap.

It refers to a reservoir built in the 11th century AD.  It is located to the north west of Siem Reap airport.

Saya tertarik setelah melihat saiznya begitu besar di dalam peta...

I was attracted after seeing its huge size on the map...

Bentuknya segi empat panjang tidak sama memanjang timur ke barat...

Its shape is a rectangle extending from east to west...

Panjangnya lebih kurang 7.8 km, lebarnya 2.1 km...

Its length is about 7.8 km, its width 2.1 km...
