Dari Phnom Da kami bergerak 3.5 km ke Angkor Borei, sebuah bandar kecil yang dibina di atas tapak ibukota empayar Funan. Ada sebuah muzium menyimpan artifak lama kerajaan...

From Phnom Da we moved 3.5 km to Angkor Borei, a small town built on top of the site of capital of the empire of Funan. There is a museum to house old artifacts from the kingdom.

Kami pun pergi untuk melihat lebih dekat...

We then went to have a closer look...

Kuil (Temple of) Phnom Da

Salam. Terus kepada hari ke-5 perjalanan Cambodia-Thailand 22 Nov-3 Dis 2018.

Peace be upon you. On to the 5th day of the Cambodia-Thailand trip 22 Nov-3 Dec 2018.

Pagi Isnin 26 November 2018. Kami memanjat satu bukit kecil bernama Phnom Da untuk melihat kuil lama ini.

Monday morning 26th November 2018. We climbed a small hill called Phnom Da to have a look at this old temple.

Ia terletak 85 km ke selatan Phnom Penh (ibu kota Cambodia) melalui jalan raya.

It is situated 85 km south of Phnom Penh (capital city of Cambodia) by road.

Tetapi kami sampai melalui Takeo, 75 km melalui jalan raya kemudian naik bot lebih 20 km.

But we arrived via Takeo, 75 km by road before taking a boat for more than 20 km.

Kuil ini dibina pada abad ke 11 Masihi di atas kuil sebelumnya yang sudah berdiri sejak abad ke-enam Masihi.

This  temple was built in the 11th century AD upon a temple before it has been standing since the sixth century AD.

Sebelum itu sudah ada kuil daripada zaman awal empayar Funan di tapak sama. 

Before that there already exists a temple from the early period of Funan empire on the same site.

Empayar tersebut wujud abad 1-6 Masihi...

The said empire existed 1-6th century AD...

Kuil terawal harus sudah wujud di sini hampir 2,000 tahun lalu.

The earliest temple should have existed here almost 2,000 years ago.
