Petang itu kami naik ke Bukit Bendera lalu singgah ke masjid ini.

That afternoon we went up Bukit Bendera (also known as Penang Hill) and stopped by at this mosque.

Ia terletak hampir ke puncak bukit. Untuk pengetahuan bukit ini mencapai ketinggian lebih 800 meter dari paras laut.

It is situated close to the hill summit. For information this hill reach a height of more than 800 metres above sea level.

Ada galeri menempatkan barang-barang yang terkait dengan P. Ramlee.

Next we moved to the house of birth of P. Ramlee.

P, Ramlee adalah seniman besar negara yang terkenal dengan lakonan dan nyanyiannya tahun 60an dan 70an. Rumah ini dibina oleh bapanya Puteh bin Karim tahun 1926. P. Ramlee dilahirkan di sini tahun 1929.

P. Ramlee was the nation's major artist who was famous for his acting and singing in the years 60s and 70s. This house was built by his father Puteh bin Karim in the year 1926. P. Ramlee was born here in the year 1929.

Adapun sebelum sampai ke tanah perkuburan Kebun Lama kami ternampak masjid ini.

As it is before arriving at the Kebun Lama burial ground we saw this mosque.

Letaknya cuma 100 meter ke barat perkuburan.

Its location is just 100 metres to the west of the burial ground.

Namanya Masjid Acheh Kebun Lama...

Its name is Masjid (mosque of) Acheh Kebun Lama...

At the part with many Aceh tombstones just now there lies this tomb.

Bentuk batu nesannya hampir menyerupai satu jenis batu nesan Aceh.

It's tombstones almost resemble a type of Aceh tombstone.

Namun jelas ia adalah buatan lain yang tersendiri...

Still it is clear it is of other make of its own...

Tengah hari Selasa 26 Mac 2019 kami ke tanah perkuburan Islam di Kebun Lama, Pulau Pinang.

Tuesday noon 26th March 2019 we went to the Muslim burial ground in Kebun Lama, Pulau Pinang.

Tengok-tengok ada makam berbatu nesan Aceh...

What do you know there is a tomb with Aceh stones...

Melihat ke bahagian timur perkuburan...

Looking to the east section of the burial ground...

Ada lagi makam berbatu nesan Aceh...

There is another tomb with Aceh tombstones...

Malah terdapat beberapa lagi makam berbatu nesan Aceh...

In fact there are a few more tombs with Aceh stones...
