Makam (Tomb of) Tok Surat



Di bahagian lain Kuala Berang kami ditunjukkan satu makam di atas bukit.
At another part of Kuala Berang we were shown a tomb on top of a hill.


Kami diberitahu ia adalah makam Tok Surat.
We were told it is the tomb of Tok Surat.


Tetapi tidak diketahui siapakah beliau ini.
But it is not known who he is.


Cuma menurut ceritanya Batu Bersurat Terengganu yang terkenal itu asalnya terletak di sini menandakan kedudukan makam.
It is just that according to the stories the famous Batu Bersurat Terengganu (Terengganu inscribed stone) was originally located here marking the position of the tomb.

Galeri (Gallery of) Tok Pulau Manis



Malam selepas jam 9 kami ke Kampung Pulau Manis di Kuala Terengganu untuk satu majlis
At night after 9 we went to Kampung Pulau Manis in Kuala Terengganu for a function.


Nama Tok Pulau Manis merujuk kepada seorang ulamak besar Terengganu abad ke-17 dan 18 yang bertaraf wali. Tentang beliau dan makamnya telah diceritakan dalam artikel Makam (tomb of) Tok Pulau Manis yang dibuat hampir 11 tahun lalu.
The name Tok Pulau Manis refers to a major religious master of Terengganu in the 17th and 18th century who was of saintly status. On him and his tomb has been told in the article Makam (tomb of) Tok Pulau Manis made almost 11 years ago.


Berdekatan makamnya ada satu surau lama
Nearby his tomb there is an old praying hall.


Sebahagian daripada surau telah dijadikan galeri  pameran yang terkait dengan Tok Pulau Manis...
Part of the praying hall has been turned into a gallery for exhibits related to Tok Pulau Manis...










Lawatan kembali Masjid Tokku Paloh (Tokku Paloh mosque revisited)



Di Kuala Terengganu kami singgah di Masjid Tokku Paloh.
In Kuala Terengganu we stopped by at the mosque of Tokku Paloh.





Asalnya ia berbangunan kayu. Lihat Masjid (Mosque of) Tokku Paloh. Setelah beberapa lama baru dibina batu.
Originally it was a wooden buiding. Look at Masjid (Mosque of) Tokku Paloh. After some time it was made into concrete.

Selepas Kemaman kami ke Kuala Dungun lalu singgah ke masjid ini.

Its name is Masjid (Mosque of) Tengku Ampuan Intan Zahrah





Kami singgah untuk menunaikan solat Jumaat.
We stopped by to conduct the Jumaat (compulsory congregational) prayers...











Telaga Simpul, Kemaman

Salam semua. Hujung minggu lalu saya dan keluarga pergi ke Terengganu. Ada sedikit perkongsian...

Dipanggil Telaga Simpul ia dikatakan satu tempat pelayar mengambil air tawar zaman dahulu...
Called the Telaga (well of) Simpul it is said to be a place for sailors to take fresh water in the olden days...
