Its name is Masjid (mosque of) Kampung Pasir, Ulu Slim.

Saya singgah waktu petang ketika hendak meninggalkan Ulu Slim dan persekitarannya...

I stopped by in the afternoon while wanting to leave Ulu Slim and its surroundings...

Surau (Praying hall of) Ulu Slim

Salam. Pergi pada hari ke-3 dan terakhir perjalanan baru Perak.

Peace be upon you. On to the 3rd and last day of the new Perak trip.

Ini adalah surau di Ulu Slim, Perak pada awal pagi Khamis 1 November 2022.

This is the praying hall in Ulu Slim, Perak in early Thursday morning 1st November 2022.

Saya telah bermalam di surau ini.

I have spent the night at this praying hall.

Seterusnya saya singgah di satu tempat bernama Sungai Buaya lalu ke masjidnya.

Next I stopped by at a place called Sungai Buaya and went to its mosque.

Dapat dilihat dengan lebih terang juga adalah kubur-kubur lama di sekeliling masjid.

Also could be seen clearer are the old graves around the mosque.

Sebahagian daripadanya harus milik mereka yang pernah meduduki Bandar pada abad ke-18 dan 19 Masihi.

Some of it should belong to those who have populated Bandar in the 18th and 19th centuries AD.

Dalam perjalanan kali ini juga saya dapat sampai awal ke masjid lama di Bandar lalu dapat melihat lebih terang makam di hadapannya.

It was in this trip also I got to reach the old mosque and Bandar early and got to see more clearly the tomb in front of it.

Ini adalah makam Sheikh Muhammad Taib yang  menjadi mufti negeri Perak pada penghujung abad ke-19 Masihi.

This is the tomb of Sheikh Muhammad Taib who became the mufti (Islamic religious head counsel) at the end of the 19th century AD.

Tetapi ketika itu sudah waktu senja.

But at that time it was at dusk.

Kali ini saya sampai lebih awal lalu boleh melihatnya dengan lebih jelas...

This time I arrived much earlier and could see it much clearer...

Tapak (Site of) Kota Lumut

Perjalanan diteruskan jauh ke satu kawasan terpencil lebih kurang 14 km selatan Pasir Salak melalui jalan tar sebelum harus berjalan kaki.

The trip was continued far to a secluded place about 14 km south of Pasir Salak by tarred road before having to walk on foot.

Kalau tidak disebabkan paya menghalang tentu saya akan berjalan kaki hingga ke pokok dalam tengah gambar.

If not for the swamps blocking for sure I would have walked till the trees in the middle of the picture.

Ia adalah dekat pertemuan Sungai Lumut dengan Sungai Perak yang lebih besar.

It is at the meeting of the Lumut river with the bigger Perak river.

Di situ pernah terletak sebuah kota lama yang dikenali sebagai Kota Lumut.

It was there that used to be located an old fort which was known as Kota Lumut.
