Lawatan baru ke (New visit to) masjid pusat (central mosque of) Patani

Salam semua. Pergi pada hari ke-6 perjalanan selatan Thailand baru ini.

Peace be upon you all. On to the 6th day of the recent southern Thailand trip.

Petang Selasa 27 Disember 2022. Kami pergi ke pusat bandar Patani lalu ke masjid ini.

Tuesday afternoon 27th December 2022. We went to Patani town centre on to this mosque.

Ia adalah masjid pusat  Patani.

It is the central mosque of Patani.

Saya, isteri dan dua orang anak pertama kali sampai tahun 2018. Lihat artikel lama Masjid jamek (Main mosque of) Patani.

Sekarang baru dua orang lagi anak dapat bersama.

Now only two more children could come together.

Makam-makam tak bertanda sekeliling makam Sheikh Abdul Samad (Unmarked tombs around the tomb of Sheikh Abdul Samad)

Dikatakan ramai pejuang Melayu terkorban ketika berperang bersama Sheikh Abdul Samad baik ketika bersama Patani tahun 1785 mahupun bersama Kedah melawan Siam tahun 1832.

It is said that many Malay fighters were killed while fighting with Sheikh Abdul Samad whether with Patani in the year 1785 or with Kedah fighting Siam in the year 1832.

Jasad mereka dikatakan diabadikan merata di sekeliling makam Sheikh Abdul Samad.

Their bodies are said to have been laid to rest all around the tomb of Sheikh Abdul Samad.

Cuma makam-makam mereka tidak ditanda...

It is just their tombs were not marked...

Seterusnya kami bergerak ke arah Chana lalu ke makam ini.

Next we headed towards Chana and on to this tomb.

Ia adalah makam ulamak terkenal abad ke-19 Sheikh Abdul Samad al-Falimbani.

It is the tomb of the famous 19th century religious master Sheikh Abdul Samad al-Falimbani.

Ini adalah kali ke-4 saya di sini.

This is my 4th time here.

Dalam artikel Makam (Tomb of) Sheikh Abdul Samad al-Falimbani yang ditulis 6 tahun lalu saya menyebut bahawa beliau dikatakan terkorban tahun 1785 ketika bersama tentera Patani melawan Siam. 

In the article Makam (Tomb of) Sheikh Abdul Samad al-Falimbani which was written 6 years ago I've mentioned that he was killed in the year 1785 while with the Patani army fighting Siam.

Namun ada yang menyebut beliau terkorban ketika membantu tentera Kedah melawan Siam sekitar tahun 1832.

But there are those who said he was killed while helping the Kedah army fight against Siam around the year 1832.

Isnin 26 Disember 2022. Selepas bermalam dekat pusat bandar raya Hatyai kami keluar untuk ke masjid ini.

Monday 26th December 2022. After spending the night near Hatyai city centre we went outside to get to this mosque.

Ia dinyatakan sebagai masjid pusat Songkhla.

It is stated as the central mosque of Songkhla.

Ini merujuk pada wilayah Songkhla yang mengandungi bandar raya Hatyai juga bandar raya Songkhla...

This refers to the province of Songkhla which contains the city of Hatyai also the city of Songkhla...

Duyung emas di pantai Samila (Golden mermaid at Samila beach), Songkhla

Seterusnya kami bergerak ke kota Songkhla yang dikenali sekarang, bahagian yang dibina selepas kejatuhan kota Melayu Singgora ke tangan Siam lalu ke pantai Samila.

Next we moved on to the city of Songkhla as known today, the parts that was built after the fall of the Malay city of Singgora in the hands of Siam on to the Samila beach.

Isteri saya mahu melihat monumen duyung emas di satu bahagian pantai...

My wife wanted to see the golden mermain monument at a section of the beach...

Kota no.9 (Fort no. 9), Songkhla

Sekitar 1.6 km perjalanan dengan kereta ke barat lagi pula kelihatan tinggalan kota ini.

Around 1.6 km journey by car more to the west in turn could be seen this fort remains.

Ia ditanda sebagai kota nombor 9.

It is marked as fort number 9.
