This in turn is at the Orang Asli village at Kuala Mu.

Ia adalah surau bagi penduduk sana.

It is the praying hall for the populace there.

Salam. Sukacita dimaklumkan saya baru sahaja kembali malam tadi daripada perjalanan baru di Perak. Sekarang biar dikongsikan cerita daripada hari ke-3 perjalanan.

Pagi Rabu 18 Oktober 2023. Saya telah bermalam di masjid ini.

Wednesday morning 18th October 2023. I have spent the night  at this mosque.

Ia adalah masjid bagi penempatan bernama Bawong.

It is the mosque for a settlement named Bawong.

Letaknya ke timur laut mukim Sungai Siput.

It is situated to the north-east of the subdistrict of Sungai Siput.

Masuk waktu Maghrib saya singgah di masjid satu tempat bernama Jalong.

Come Maghrib time (for Muslim dusk prayer) I stopped by at the mosque of a  place called Jalong.

Letaknya lebih 30 km ke utara bandar raya Ipoh.

It is located more than 30 km north of the city of Ipoh.

Petang itu saya bergerak ke utara Ipoh lalu singgah di masjid lama Ulu Kuang.

That afternoon I moved to the north of Ipoh and stopped by at the old mosque of Ulu Kuang.

Entering Ipoh via Jalan (road of) Kuala Kangsar I stopped by at this mosque.

Namanya Masjid Al-Aulia.

Its name is Masjid (Mosque of) Al-Aulia,

Daripada masjid saya mengambil satu laluan yang menyusur Sungai Kinta ke arah hulu lalu berhenti di kuil ini.

From the mosque I took a route which follows the Kinta river towards upriver and stopped by at this temple.

Saya tertarik selepas terlihat satu patung besar dari jauh...
