Masjid (Mosque of) Kampung Hulu malam hari (at night)!

Although the mosque of Kampung Hulu, Melaka is one among 3 or so oldest mosques which still exist in Malaysia, I have never put one single article for the mosque in this blogspot. The closest to one is when I made it 'share' with other places as featured in the article Perigi (well of) Hang Tuah, Masjid (mosque of) Duyung serta (and) Kampung Hulu made more than 2 years ago. So I feel it is good to feature a number of pictures of the mosque of Kampung Hulu which were taken on the first night of Ramadhan quite recently to create an article which stands on its own ya.
Saya rasa penerangan tentang masjid tidak perlu dipanjangkan. Cukuplah apa yang terdapat pada artikel Perigi (well of) Hang Tuah, Masjid (mosque of) Duyung serta (and) Kampung Hulu. Selain itu biar gambar-gambar ini sendiri bercerita. Nikmatilah ia...
I feel that there is no need to extend explanations about the mosque. What is available in the article Perigi (well of) Hang Tuah, Masjid (mosque of) Duyung serta (and) Kampung Hulu should be enough. Apart from that the pictures itself are able to tell a story. Enjoy it...

Sila lihat artikel A night walkabout in Melaka... di blogspot BERPETUALANG KE ACEH. Selamat malam! :]
I've also recorded a video of the scene around Subuh or early morning prayers on the said 1st Ramadhan at the mosque. Please look at the article A night walkabout in Melaka... in the blogspot BERPETUALANG KE ACEH. Good night! :]

Makam menonjol di (An oustanding tomb at) Pokok Mangga, Melaka...

In a trip following the coastline from Tanjung Keling, Melaka to the south I saw a tomb building which is rather outstanding besides the main road...

It's not as if I've never took this route before, in fact I've done it many times. But it is only this time it looked so interesting, it happened that the night have entered the 1st day of Ramadhan, the holy Muslim fasting month!

Saya pun pergi untuk melihat lebih dekat...
I then went to have a closer look...

Pelik sungguh... ia adalah makam orang Islam tetapi dibina oleh orang Cina bukan Islam!
This is so strange... it is the tomb of a Muslim but yet built by non-Muslim Chineses!

There is mention that this is the tomb of Datuk Haji Dalif... or is it Haji Zalif? I myself am not sure whether the Jawi letter for the start of the name is the letter Dal or Za.

Inside this building there are a number of tombs, I feel it's that of family members. What becomes the question is, who were these people that all the tombstones are wrapped with yellow clothings which normally signifies the owner as being of royal blood or is considered a miraculous person? Such that its building was built by the Chinese? Just a note, this is the 292nd article here...

Masjid Al-Mardhiyah (Al-Mardhiyah mosque), Taman Melawati

Di kawasan perumahan Taman Melawati, pinggir bandaraya Kuala Lumpur terdapat masjid bernama Masjid Al-Mardhiyah ini...
At the housing estate of Taman Melawati, fringe of the Kuala Lumpur city there lies this mosque named Masjid Al-Mardhiyah...

Dibina berlatar-belakangkan satu barisan bukit batu kapur yang kelihatan indah, warna biru masjid membuatkan ia lebih menonjol...
Built with a background of a range of limestone hills which looks lovely, the blue colour of the mosque makes it stand out more...

Menara azan masjid...
The mosque's call to prayer tower...

Mari masuk ke dalam...
Let us go inside...

Dewan solatnya agak luas...
Its praying hall is rather vast...

Masjid jamek (main mosque of) Sungai Buloh, Selangor

Assalamualaikum. Mari! :]
Peace be upon you all. After more than a month not telling any stories here, let new articles be written. Come! :]

The mosque to be featured this time is just a small mosque situated besides the Sungai Buloh Komuter train station...

All this while I always thought this was just a surau (small praying hall). But in a visit made in August did only I realised it is actually the main mosque in this parts of the world!

Ini disebabkan dahulu kawasan sekelilingnya membentuk pusat pekan Sungai Buloh...
This is because the areas around it used to form the centre of the small town of Sungai Buloh...

Sekian...
Nowadays, Sungai Buloh have grown much bigger with a new township formed 3 km from here. Maybe that is why this mosque looks only like a surau compared to the fast growth and development around it although it still remains the main mosque for the small town of Sungai Buloh! That's all...
