Nama baginda iaitu Sultan Alauddin Mansur Iskandar Muda seperti menggabungkan nama besar 2 orang Sultan Aceh iaitu Sultan Alauddin Mansur (memerintah 1580-1585) dan Sultan Iskandar Muda (memerintah 1607-1636). Adakah kerana baginda memiliki titisan darah keduanya? Untuk pengetahuan Sultan Alauddin Mansur adalah anakanda kepada Sultan ke 2 Perak, Sultan Mansur Shah.

His high highness name which is Sultan Alauddin Mansur Iskandar Muda seemed to combine the names of 2 major Sultans of Aceh which is Sultan Alauddin Mansur (ruled 1580-1585) and Sultan Iskandar Muda (ruled 1607-1636).
