Di pinggiran bandaraya Melaka boleh kelihatan masjid besar ini tersergam indah.

At the fringes of the city of Melaka could be seen this huge mosque standing tall and beautiful.

Inilah Masjid Al Azim yang menjadi masjid negeri.
This is the Al Azim mosque which becomes the state mosque.

Masjid ini dirasmikan tahun 1990 oleh Sultan Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah, ketika itu Yang di Pertuan Agong Malaysia.

This mosque was officiated in 1990 by the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah, at the time the Yang di Pertuan Agong (rotational king) of Malaysia.
