At the museum on top of Bukit (hill of) Melawati, Kuala Selangor, it is said that at a small hill which is called Bukit Hospital there exist the tomb of a Bugis leader who ruled Selangor before its Sultanate was formally erected in the middle of the 18th century.
During the day I went around Bukit Hospital to look for it and found this tomb, the only one which could be seen at the hill.
Cuma saya pelik.
It's just I'm perplexed. Information at the museum mentioned Upu Chendera Burung as a female leader. Still the man who pointed the way to the tomb said it belongs to a male general. Which one is correct? Is Upu Chendera Burung the same person as Opu Tanderi Buring, a famous Bugis character who is said to be father to the 5 famous Daeng (Bugis warrior prince) brothers, Daeng Parani, Daeng Merewah, Daeng Menambon, Daeng Chelak dan Daeng Kemasi?
