Sebelah kawasan pemakaman lama diraja Arau terdapat bangunan ini.
Besides the old royal mausoleum in Arau there lies this building.

Di hadapan ada tangga yang pernah digunakan untuk naik dari sungai yang dilindungi pagar.

In front there is a staircase which was once used to get up from the river which is now obscured by a wall.

Sekarang kita lihat lebih dekat.

Now let us have a closer look.

Saya melihat sekeliling. Kelihatan semua pintu terkunci.

I went to have a look around. Looks like all doors were locked.

Sampai di bahagian hadapan baru saya terjumpa lubang untuk melihat ke dalam.

Getting to the front part only did I found a hole of sorts to look inside.

Beduk di sebelah menunjukkan ia sebuah masjid. Kemudian baru saya tahu ia memang masjid diraja lama Arau.

The beduk, a traditional drum shows that it is or was a mosque. Then only did I know it is indeed the old royal mosque of Arau.


Lihat sedikit jauh dari luar. Baru kelihatan rupa sebuah masjid.

Look a bit further from outside. Then you could see the look of a mosque.
