Continued from Masjid (Mosque of) Al-Khairat, Kota Jembal.
Kemudian saya teringat sebuah lagi makam yang pernah diziarahi April 2008. Tetapi saya perlu berpatah balik ke arah makam Raja Loyor dan terus lagi ke tempat yang bernama Kampung Tok Ku.
Then I remembered one more tomb which has been visited in April 2008. But I have to turn back towards the tomb of Raja Loyor and furthermore to a place called Kampung (village of) Tok Ku.
Dalam artikel Makam Raja-raja Jembal (Tombs of the kings of Jembal) yang ditulis tahun lepas saya telah menyebut ini sebagai makam of Raja Sakti.
In the article Makam Raja-raja Jembal (Tombs of the kings of Jembal) which was written last year I have mentioned this as the tomb of Raja Sakti.
Then I came across an academic book which mentioned it as the tomb of Tok Ku.
The book added, some historians believe Tok Ku is actually Tuan Besar Long Bahar father to Sultan Long Sulaiman who ruled at Kubang Labu (east of the city of Kota Bahru). For information Long Sulaiman is father to Long Yunus, the person mentioned in official history as the founder of modern Kelantan sultanate. Long Yunus came up the throne in 1760s to give rise to the sultans of Kelantan who ruled until now.
Long Bahar who originated from Patani was in turn the son-in-law of Raja Udang @ Sultan Omar (mentioned as the last king of the Jembal dynasty). Long Sulaiman is a son from an earlier wife brought along from Patani.
Oh. In this tomb area I could see different tombstones which marked the existence of at least two tombs. I don't know which is the tomb of Tok Ku said to be Long Bahar.
As it is Long Bahar then was given power to rule Kelantan from Kota Jembal. His majesty could be said to be the turning point of rule from the Jembal dynasty to the present one.
