Masjid (Mosque of) Darulhuda, hampir ke (close to) Hatyai

Almost half an hour after leaving Masjid Muhibben there appeared in turn this mosque to the left side.

Once more I can't tell for sure where is the exact location of this except we then have come not so far to Hatyai.

We just have a look at this mosque which is the biggest so far on the trip from Bukit Kayu Hitam.

Namanya Masjid Darulhuda. Nampaknya perkataan "Masyid" tu salah ejaan, bukannya sebutan tempatan.
It's name is Masjid (mosque of) Darulhuda. Looks like the word "Masyid" is a misspelling, not a local pronounciation. Otherwise the mosques seen previously would have been spelt that way too.

About 10 minutes after leaving Sadao heading back towards Hatyai I saw this mosque on the right side.

I don't know the name of this place, what is sure the name of the mosque is Masjid (mosque of) Muhibben.

Interesting is the shape of the mosque which at a glance looks like its six-sided...

Dewan solat. Apabila diperhatikan betul-betul baru nampak ia sebenarnya bersegi lapan.

Next I visited a mosque called Jamiul Islam a bit more to the north.

Compared to the mosque of Darul Iman this one is really situated in the town of Sadao. Thailand.

I feel everyone knows that Bukit Kayu Hitam is a main entrance to the nation of Thailand by land. So we then entered the nation and not long after found the first mosque which could be reached from the main road.

Although Thailand is a Buddhist nation its southern parts have many Muslim population. This is because these areas originally belong to Muslim kingdoms before it was colonised by Thailand.

OK.
OK. I can't remember the actual name of this area. I feel it is inside the province or district of Sadao. Luckily the name of mosque is written in Jawi script at the roof, that is Masjid (mosque of) Dar Al Iman or as pronounced according to Arabic grammatical rules, Masjid Darul Iman.
Sekarang mari kita lihat lebih dekat.
Now let us have a closer look.

Looks like there is a place for cooking at the right front side.

Ada juga sebuah beduk...
There's also a beduk (traditional drum used to signal certain occasions like time of prayers)...

At the back I could see many people sleeping. Looks like they are members of the Tabligh movement (an Islamic missionary movement). If that is the case then this mosque must be one of their focal points. For information this is the 500th article in this blogspot. Interestingly it is also the 5th article to be featured here for the trip to north in the month of Ramadhan...

Masjid (Mosque of) Bandar Baru Bukit Kayu Hitam

OK.
OK. We continue back to the places visited in the trip to the north made during the month of Ramadhan (Muslim fasting month) last year.

Kita pergi to Masjid Bandar Baru Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah.

We go to the mosque of Bandar Baru (new town) Kayu Hitam, Kedah.

Masjid biasa sahaja tetapi penting untuk merekodkan perjalanan.

Just a common mosque but important in recording the journey.

Masjid India (Indian mosque), Kelang

Selepas menziarahi makam diraja (lihat Makam diraja (Royal mausoleum of) Selangor, Kelang), saya pergi ke Masjid India Kelang.
After visiting the royal mausoleum (look at Makam diraja (Royal mausoleum of) Selangor, Kelang), I went to the Indian mosque of Kelang.

All this while I only know the Indian mosque which is available in Kuala Lumpur (look at Masjid India (the Indian mosque), Kuala Lumpur...), it was only yesterday I stepped foot at this mosque.

Actually it has been 2 years since I know about the existence of this mosqe. But I was not moved yet to make a visit. Now let us have a look inside.
