Tempat di Tumpat yang mula sekali hendak dituju adalah kawasan sekolah pondok Tok Selehor di mana terdapat masjid ini.
The place in Tumpat to be headed first is the Tok Selehor traditional religious school area where lies this mosque.

Maka masjid ini dipanggil Masjid Tok Selehor.
Thus this mosque is called Masjid (mosque of) Tok Selehor.

Untuk makluman Tok Selehor adalah seorang ulamak besar Kelantan bertaraf wali yang hidup lebih kurang seabad lalu. Lihat artikel lama Makam (Tomb of) Tok Selehor).

Dalam perjalanan menghala ke satu tempat di Tumpat, kami terlihat surau ini.
On the way to a place in Tumpat, we saw this surau (small praying hall).

Ia adalah surau Kampung Kok Kranji.
It is the surau of Kampung (village) of Kok Kranji.

Ia mungkin sebuah bangunan buruk kecil tapi saya rasa elok juga dikongsi gambar-gambarnya.
It might be just a small ran-down building but I think it is good to share its pictures.

Dari Wakaf Baru kami ke Kampung Laut pula di mana terdapat masjid ini.
From Wakaf Baru we went to Kampung Laut in turn where lies this mosque.


Ia adalah masjid utama di Kampung Laut menggantikan sebuah masjid lama.
It is the main mosque in Kampung Laut replacing an old mosque.

Adapun masjid lama yang dimaksudkan telah dialih lokasi ke Nilam Puri kira-kira 19 km dari sini. Lihat artikel lama Masjid (mosque) of Kampung Laut.

Namun ada beberapa barangan dari masjid lama ditinggalkan di sini. Antaranya beduk ini...
Still there's a number of things from the old mosque left here. Among it is this beduk (Malay traditional drum)... Turut ditinggalkan adalah kolah air yang diukir dari batu pejal.
Also left behind is a water pool carved from solid rock.

Di satu sisi ada maklumat menyatakan masjid ini dibuka 1967, bukanlah begitu baru tetapi memang baru kalau dibandingkan Masjid Kampung Laut lama yang berumur ratusan tahun.
At one side there is information saying this mosque was opened in 1967, not so new but still new indeed compared to the old Masjid (mosque of) Kampung Laut which is hundreds of years old.

Difahamkan mimbar ini pula berserta panel ukiran yang kelihatan di atas adalah tinggalan dari masjid lama juga.
