Di sebelah masjid jamek Alor Gajah terletak pula Masjid Ar-Rasyidin.
Besides the main mosque of Alor Gajah in turn is situated Masjid (mosque of) Ar-Rasyidin.


Jauh lebih besar dan moden ia nampaknya adalah masjid daerah.
Far more bigger and modern looks like it is the district mosque.

Masjid ini tiada menara azan. Tarikan terus tertumpu pada bumbungnya yang berlapis.
The mosque has not minaret. Attraction is immediately concentrated at its layered roof.

Tidak lama kemudian kami sampai ke Alor Gajah lalu singgah di masjid jameknya.
Not long afterwards we arrived at Alor Gajah and thus visited its main mosque.

Masjid ini agak comel dan menarik.
This mosque is rather cute and attractive.

Lihat juga kubah-kubah.

Sekarang biar kita masuk melalui pintu sisi belakang.

Nampaknya bahagian belakang masjid merupakan tambahan yang dirasmikan 1984.
Looks like the rear section of the mosque is an addition which was officiated 1984.

Dewan solat pula adalah sebahagian bangunan asal yang lebih tua.
The praying hall in turn is part of the original building which is older.

Masjid (Mosque of) Al-Ghaffar, Jasin

Keluar sedikit dari bandar Jasin menghala ke bandaraya Melaka kelihatan masjid besar yang dipanggil Masjid Al-Ghaffar.
Going out a bit from the town of Jasin heading towards the city of Melaka could be seen a large mosque called Masjid Al-Ghaffar.

Kalau tak salah ia adalah masjid daerah Jasin.
If not mistaken it is the district mosque of Jasin.

Masjid ini terasa seperti kuat dipengaruhi senibina Cina. Ini mengingatkan pada 'Masjid Beijing' di Rantau Panjang, Kelantan. Lihat artikel Masjid Beijing (The Beijing Mosque) yang dibuat 5 bulan lalu.

Berdekatan pusat bandar Jasin terdapat Masjid Ubaidullah.
Besides the town centre of Jasin there exist Masjid (mosque of) Ubaidullah.

Masjidnya kelihatan biasa namun ia tetap masjid utama bandar.
The mosque looks common but it is still the town's main mosque.

Lebih hampir ke Jasin iaitu di Kampung Simpang Kerayong terlihat pula masjid ini.
Closer to Jasin that is at Kampung (village of) Simpang Kerayong could be seen this mosque in turn.

Saya tertarik dengan bentuk bumbungnya.
I was attracted by the shape of its roof.

Dari Tangkak kami menghala ke Jasin, Melaka lalu terlihat masjid di Kampung Terentang.
From Tangkak we headed to Jasin, Melaka and saw the mosque of Kampung Terentang.


Bentuk yang agak unik membuat saya berhenti untuk melihat lebih dekat.
A rather unique shape made me stop to have a closer look.
