Sebelum kembali ke hotel, kami singgah di satu masjid berdekatan.

Before returning to the hotel, we stopped by at a nearby mosque.

Ia adalah Masjid Al-Manar di satu kawasan yang dipanggil Kota Maksum.

It is the mosque of Al-Manar at an area called Kota Maksum.

Saya terus melihat di bahagian bawah. Nampaknya ini bukan dewan utama solat.

I immediately went to look at the lower section. Looks like this is not the main praying hall.

Saya pun naik ke atas.

I then went upstairs.

Baru nampak seperti tempat bersolat.

Then only it looks like a place for conductiong prayers.

Next we went to Timbang Deli where lies this mosque.

Masjid ini segar dalam ingatan kerana pernah menjadi tempat saya bermalam lebih 7 tahun lalu.

This mosque is fresh in memory as it has been a place where I spent a night at more than 7 years ago.

Seterusnya kami masuk kembali ke Medan. Di satu kawasan bernama Sitirejo III terlihat masjid ini.

Next we reentered Medan. At an area called Sitirejo III we chanced upon this mosque.

Rekabentuknya agak teliti dan cantik.

Its design is rather detailed and beautiful.

Lihat sahaja ayat-ayat Al-Quran yang terdapat pada menara azan.

Just look at the Quranic verses available on the call to prayer tower.

Sekarang lihat ke dalam.

Masjid jamek (Main mosque of) As-Syakirin, Deli Tua

Assalamualaikum. Sudah 2 minggu saya tidak mengemaskini blogspot ini. Kita sambung cerita tempat-tempat yang dilawati dalam perjalanan Medan-Banda Aceh November 2-13.

Isnin 7 November 2011 kami ke satu tempat di pinggir selatan bandaraya Medan di mana terdapat masjid ini.

Monday 7th November 2011 we went to a place at the southern fringe of the city of Medan where lies this mosque.

Ia adalah Masjid jamek As-Syakirin di Deli Tua.

It is the main mosque of As-Syakirin at Deli Tua.

Untuk pengetahuan Deli Tua pernah menjadi pusat kerajaan Deli sebelum ia bernama Deli.

For information Deli Tua (literalily old Deli) used to be the centre of the kingdom of Deli before it was called Deli.

Mari masuk ke dalam.
