Bergerak sekitar 500 meter ke puncak sebuah bukit kami sampai ke kawasan ini.

Moving around 500 metres to the summit of a hill we arrived at this area.

Kelihatan tembok-tembok lama.

Could be seen old walls.

Ia menghadap kawasan berdekatan sungai yang lebih rendah.

It faces the area nearby rivers which is much lower.

Di dalam lingkungan tembok terdapat juga makam.

Within the bounds of the walls there also exists tombs.

Inilah tapak Kota Tinggi, Riau, pusat pemerintahan empayar Johor-Riau-Lingga semasa zaman pemerintahan Sultan Ibrahim.

This is the the site of Kota Tinggi (literarily the high fort), Riau, the centre of administration of the Johor-Riau-Lingga empire during the rule of Sultan Ibrahim.
