Assalamualaikum. Sempena hari ini Jumaat dan malam nanti akan masuk 1 Ramadhan saya rasa elok ditunjukkan sebuah masjid besar di Indonesia.
Peace be upon you all. As today is a Friday and at night we will enter the 1st of Ramadhan (Muslim fasting month) I feel it is good to show this big mosque in Indonesia.
Isnin 7 Mei 2012, kami singgah di Masjid Istiqlal yang terletak di tengah bandar raya Jakarta.
Monday 7th May 2012, we stopped by at Masjid (mosque of) Istiqlal which is situated at the centre of the city of Jakarta.
Rupanya seperti pejabat kerajaan yang bertingkat-tingkat.
Its look is like a multi-level government office.
Ia dibuat begitu agar dapat menampung sehingga 200,000 jemaah! Untuk pengetahuan Masjid Istiqlal adalah masjid yang terbesar di Asia Tenggara.
It was made that way so that it can support up to 200,000 congregation members! For information the Masjid Istiqlal is the biggest mosque in South-East Asia.
Let us go inside.

The tower of the mosque is situated far at one corner.
Ini pula kubah dilihat daripada bahagian serambi terbuka.
