Makam (Tomb of) Sharifah Manik

Not far to the north of the town of Mersing there exists the tomb of a woman named Sharifah Manik.

Saya tidak tahu siapakah beliau.
I don't know who she is.

Kenapa pula kampung berdekatan dipanggil Kampung Makam?
What is sure Sharif Manik was not an ordinary woman. If not, why do the tomb has a big signboard? In turn why the nearby village is called Kampung (village of) Makam (the tomb)?
