Makam (Tomb of) La Madukelleng

Kembali ke bandar Sengkang kami kemudian menziarahi makam seorang raja yang dikenali sebagai La Madukelleng.
Returning to the town of Sengkang we then visited the tomb of a ruler known as as La Madukelleng.


Di dalam kompleks terdapat beberapa makam.
Inside the complex there exists a number of tombs.




La Madukelleng pernah menjadi raja Sengkang. Makamnya berbatu nesan bulat.
La Madukkeleng has been the ruler of Sengkang. His tomb has a rounded tombstone.


Sekitar tahun 1740an baginda diangkat menjadi raja tertinggi di dalam kerajaan Wajo' memakai gelaran Arung Matoa Wajo. Kelihatan di sini makam menantu La Madukelleng, seorang raja kerajaan Kutai di Kalimantan.
Around the years 1740s his majesty was elevated to become the highest ruler in the kingdom of Wajo' wearing the title Arung Matoa Wajo. Seen here is the tomb of La Madukelleng's son-in-law, a ruler of the kingdom of Kutai in Kalimantan.
