At another corner of Fort Rotterdam there exists another section of the museum.

Bahagian ini menumpukan pameran berkenaan ketamadunan dan kebudayaan Bugis.

This section has exhibits concentrated on the civilisation and culture of the Bugis.

Namun harus diingatkan ia turut memaparkan hal-hal berkenaan orang Makassar.

But still it has to be reminded it also shows things regarding the Makassar people.

Di Sulawesi Selatan orang Makassar dikira lain dari orang Bugis. Tapi orang luar mengirakan dua etnik ini sama sahaja, semuanya berbangsa Bugis.

In Sulawesi Selatan (the South Celebes) the Makassar people is considered distinct from the Bugis people. But outsiders consider the two ethnics as being the same, all of them are of the Bugis race.
