Lewat petang itu saya dan isteri mencuba satu laluan baru dari hotel kami ke Masjidil Haram. Laluan ini jauh sedikit, harus masuk ke dalam sebuah terowong sebelum keluar di satu kawasan yang kalau tak salah dipanggil Ajyad lalu saya terlihat masjid ini...

Late afternoon me and wife tried taking on a new route from our hotel to the Masjidil Haram (holy mosque of Mecca). That route is a bit long, entering a tunnel before coming out at an area which if not mistaken is called the Ajyad where I saw this mosque...

Pada papan tanda tertera namanya sebagai Masjid An-Nafiq.

On the sign board is shown its name as Masjid (mosque of) An-Nafiq.

Saya pun masuk ke dalam untuk melihat sebentar...

 I then went inside to have a look for a little while...

Cukuplah untuk memasukkannya ke dalam koleksi tempat-tempat yang dilawati di Mekah dan Madinah.

Enough to make it into the collection of places visited in Mecca and Medina.

Gua (The cave of) Hira'

Setelah beberapa lama sampailah kita ke satu tempat yang sangat ingin saya ziarahi di Mekah...

After some time so we reached a place which I really wanted to visit in Mecca...

Awal pagi selepas Subuh Rabu 10 April 2013. Pemandangan di hadapan Gua Hira' menunjukkan sudah ramai pengunjung menunggu mahu masuk ke dalam.

Morning after Subuh (the before dawn prayers). The view in front of the cave of Hira' shows many visitors already waiting to get inside.

Gua ini terletak ke bawah sedikit dari puncak bukit yang dipanggil Jabal Nur. Ini adalah pemandangan dari atas batu sekitar 10-15 meter ke bawah puncak.

This cave is located a bit lower than the summit of the hill called Jabal Nur. This is a view from on top a rock about 10-15 metres below the summit.

Di sinilah Nabi Muhammad SAW sering mengasingkan diri dari masyarakat Mekah zaman jahiliyah. Di sinilah kemudian baginda mendapat wahyu yang menyuruh baginda berdakwah menyebarkan Islam.

It was here that Prophet Muhammad SAW often secluded himself from the community of Mecca during its ignorant time. It was here then he received the revelation asking him to preach and spread Islam.

Guanya tidak sebesar mana, sekadar muat 2-3 orang dewasa berdiri.

The cave is not that big, just enough to contain 2-3 standing adults.

Masjid (Mosque of) Hudaibiyah

Di sebelah tinggalan masjid lama terdapat masjid lebih baru ini.

Besides the remains of the old mosque lies this newer mosque.

Inilah yang diketahui ramai sebagai Masjid Hudaibiyah.

This is the one known to many as the mosque of Hudaibiyah.

Ia adalah satu lagi tempat miqat iaitu tempat berniat untuk menunaikan umrah.

It is another miqat place which is the place to set intention for conducting the umrah (an act of pilgrimage worship).

Masuk hari ke-3 berada di Mekah...

Entering the 3rd day we're in Mecca.

Pagi Selasa 9 April 2013. Selepas melawat sebuah ladang unta kami pergi ke sebuah masjid lama.

Tuesday morning 9th April 2013. After visiting a camel farm we went to an old mosque.

Ia adalah tinggalan lampau dari lebih 1, 400 tahun lalu.

It is a remain of old from more than 1,400 years ago.

Letaknya di Hudaibiyah, tempat Perjanjian Hudaibiyah, perjanjian damai antara orang Islam Madinah dan orang kafir Quraish Mekah diadakan.

Its location is in Hudaibiyah, the place where the Hudaibiyah Treaty, a peace treaty between the Muslims of Medina and the non-believing Quraish (tribe) of Mecca was held.
