Perjalanan kemudian membawa kami keluar 40 km dari Banda Aceh ke satu tempat dipanggil Kuta Leubok berdekatan Teluk Lamreh.

The journey then brought us 40 km out of Banda Aceh to a place called Kuta Leubok near Teluk Lamreh.

Ada benteng pertahanan yang katanya telah wujud sejak zaman Portugis cuba menduduki Aceh 1510an, tidak lama selepas penjajah Barat itu dapat menakluki Kota Melaka 1511.

There is a defence fort which is said to have existed since the time Portugese tried to invade Aceh 1510an, not long after the Western colonialists captured the city of Melaka 1511.

Malah ada yang percaya kota ini sudah wujud lebih lama lagi, mungkin sebelum tahun 1200an.

In fact there are those who believe this fort has existed much earlier, maybe before the year 1200s.
