Makam (Tomb of) Maharajalela, Melaka Pindah

Antara tujuan saya singgah di masjid adalah untuk bertanyakan lokasi sebuah makam lama.

Among the reason I stopped by at the mosque was to ask for directions to an old tomb.

Saya pun diberitahu letaknya di halaman balai raya kampung Melaka Pindah sekitar 450 meter selepas masjid.

I then was told its location is at the lawn of the local meeting hall of the village of Melaka Pindah around 450 meters after the mosque.

Maklumat yang ada menyebutnya sebagai makam Dato Paduka Seri Maharajalela,

The information available mentioned it as the tomb of Dato Paduka Seri Maharajalela,

Menurut ceritanya beliau adalah seorang pembesar kesultanan Melayu Melaka yang mengundurkan diri bersama para pengikutnya ke sini selepas Kota Melaka jatuh ke tangan askar Portugis tahun 1511. 

According to the stories he was a Malay Melaka sultanate official who retreated here with his followers after the fall of the city of Melaka to Portuguese soldiers in the year 1511.

Beliau membuka penempatan baru. Sebab itu dikenali sebagai Melaka Pindah.

He opened up a new settlement. That is why it is known as Melaka Pindah (literally meaning the Melaka that moves to a new place).

Dalam perjalanan untuk kembali bercuti ke Muar saya mengambil satu laluan dalam lalu singgah di tempat bernama Melaka Pindah.

On the way to return for holiday in Muar I took an inner route and stopped by at a place called Melaka Pindah.

Singgah di masjid utama sana yang bernama Masjid Ubaidah.

Stopped by at the main mosque there called Masjid (mosque of) Ubaidah.

Saya sudah banyak kali mengambil laluan ini tetapi baru pertama kali singgah di masjid.

I have taken this route many times but that was the first time I stopped by at the mosque.

Seterusnya saya pergi ke makam seorang bangsawan lama Kelantan yang dikenali sebagai Long Deraman.

Next I went to the tomb of an old Kelantan noble who is known as Long Deraman

Dalam kawasan bertembok terdapat beberapa buah makam.

Inside the walled area there exists a number of tombs.

Saya sudah beberapa kali ke sini, Lihat Makam (Tomb of) Long Deraman. Tapi inilah kali pertama terlihat kawasan makam begitu bersih.

I have been here a number of times. Look at Makam (Tomb of) Long Deraman. But this was the first time I saw it so clean.

Disebabkan itu saya dapat melihat sebuah makam yang nampaknya berbatu nesan Aceh.

Because of that I could see a tomb that looks like it has Aceh tombstones.

Makam-makam ini dipercayai milik ahli keluarga Long Deraman.

These tombs are believed to belong to family members of Long Deraman.

Yang ini baru makam Long Deraman. Sekali lagi, rujuk pada artikel Makam (Tomb of) Long Deraman.

Salam. Kembali ke Kelantan untuk satu perjalanan yang dibuat 29 Okt-1 Nov.

Peace be upon you. Returning to Kelantan for a trip made on 29 Oct-1 Nov.

Di pekan Wakaf Bharu ada sebuah masjid baru.

At the small town of Wakaf Bharu there is a new mosque.

Namanya Masjid Al-Ismaili.

Its name is Masjid (mosque of) Al-Ismaili.

Centre for Malay World and Islamic Civilisation, Bukit Damansara

Salam semua. Ingin dimaklumkan buat suatu masa artikel-artikel saya terpaksa menggunakan gambar-gambar yang kurang elok kerana kamera saya terjatuh lalu rosak mekanisma fokus. Nak hantar untuk diperbaiki rasanya lebih elok beli kamera baru. Nak beli kamera baru belum ada bajet. Jadi kenalah bertahan buat masa ini..

Peace be upon you all. It is to be informed that for a time my articles are forced to used pictures which are not so clear as my camera fell down and this spoiled its focus mechanism. To send it for repair me feels it is better to buy a new camera. To buy a new camera I haven't got the budget. So have to bear this for a while.

Semalam saya pergi ke sebuah institusi bernama Centre for Malay World and Islamic Civilisation di Bukit Damansara.

Yesterday I went to an institution named the Centre for Malay World and Islamic Civilisation at Bukit Damansara.

Ia adalah satu institusi di bawah University Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia.

It is an institution under the International Islamic University of Malaysia.

Inilah kali pertama saya menjejakkan kaki di sini setelah hampir 20 tahun.

This is the first time I stepped foot here after almost 20 years.

Suatu masa dahulu kompleks bangunan yang ada menempatkan satu institusi lain bernama ISTAC,  International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation.

Once upon a time the available building complex housed another institution named ISTAC,  International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation

.

ISTAC diasaskan oleh pemikir besar negara bertaraf antarabangsa. Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas pada tahun 1987.

ISTAC was founded by the national thinker of international status, Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, in the year 1987.

Beliaulah yang menetapkan agar kompleks ini dibina menurut citarasa senibina Andalusia yang melambangkan zaman kegemilangan Islam di sana lebih 600 tahun yang lampau.

It was he who set that the complex be built according to the architectural taste of Andalusia which symbolises the golden age of Islam there more than 600 years ago.

Selepas itu beliau mengasaskan satu lagi kompleks yang serupa tetapi lebih besar di kawasan lain berdekatan...

After that he founded one more complex which was similar but much bigger at another area close by...

Kompleks tersebut juga kemudian terlepas daripada pengendalian beliau. Lihat IIUM Crescent di (at) Bukit Tunku.

The said complex then was also taken away from his supervision. Look at IIUM Crescent di (at) Bukit Tunku.

Pagi Rabu 12 Oktober 2016 saya masuk ke bandar Tumpat lalu singgah di masjid ini.

Wednesday morning 12th October 2016 I went to the town of Tumpat and stopped by at this mosque.

Namanya Masjid Ismaili. Saya pernah berkongsi cerita tentang masjid ini lebih 5 tahun lalu. Lihat artikel lama Masjid (Mosque of) Ismaili, Tumpat,

Kali ini saya masuk halaman masjid melalui sisi lain.

This time I entered the mosque compound via a diffent side.
