Masuk waktu senja kami sampai ke bandar Narathiwat lalu mula mencari satu tinggalan lama.

Upon dusk we arrived at the town of Narathiwat and started looking for an olden remain.

Ia adalah istana raja Legeh yang sudah lama tidak dihuni orang.

It is the palace od the raja (ruler of) Legeh which has long been abandoned.

Legeh adalah salah sebuah negeri yang terbentuk setelah kerajaan Patani dipecah-pecahkan...

Legeh was one of the states which was formed after the kingdom of Patani was broken apart...

Ia pernah meliputi satu kawasan besar hampir separuh saiz negeri Kelantan sekarang.

It used to cover and area almost half the size of the present state of Kelantan...
