Rumah Merah (The Red House), Bukit Chandan

OK. Pergi ke hari ke-8 dan terakhir perjalanan Pantai Timur baru ini.

OK. On to the 8th and final day of the recent East Coast trip.

Sabtu 25 Disember 2021. Selepas bermalam di Temong, Kuala Kangsar kami naik ke Bukit Chandan lalu singgah di rumah lama ini.

Saturday 25th December 2021. After spending the night at Temong, Kuala Kangsar we went up Bukit (hill of) Chandan and stopped by at this house.

Ia dikenali sebagai Rumah Merah.

It is known as Rumah Merah (The Red House).

Saya tidak tahu sejarah rumah ini. Ia sama ada pernah dimiliki kerabat diraja atau bangsawan...

I do not know the history of this house. It was either once owned by royalty of nobility.

Bahagian hadapannya telah dijadikan kedai kopi...

Its front section has been turned into a coffee shop...

Saya mengambil peluang untuk melihat bahagian atas rumah...

I took the chance to look at the upper sections of the house...
