Continuing from Masjid (Mosque of Nuruddeen), Hatyai.

Selepas tengah hari kami dibawa ke makam seorang tokoh yang baru meninggal dunia kurang 2 tahun lalu.

After noon we were brought to the tomb of a personality who only passed away less than 2 years ago.

Tokoh tersebut adalah Sheikhul Islam Thailand, Aziz Phitakkumpon.

The personality was Sheikhul Islam (the highest Muslim authority of) Thailand, Aziz Phitakkumpon.

Beliau yang meninggal dunia pada usia 76 tahun berasal dari Hatyai lalu menjadi kebanggaan warga tempatan.

He who passed away at the age of 76 years originated from Hatyai and thus is the pride of the locals.

Buat masa ini makamnya adalah satu-satunya yang terdapat di perkarangan masjid terbesar dalam wilayah Songkhla yang bertaraf negeri.

At this moment his tomb is the only one available in the grounds of the biggest mosque in the region of Songkhla which has the status of a state.
