Mini Malaysia: Rumah tradisional (traditional house of) Johor

Sekarang sampai kita ke negeri kelahiran saya Johor.
Now we have reached the state I was born in Johor.

Rumah yang digunakan untuk mewakili Johor ini sebenarnya rumah Bugis seperti yang terdapat di Pontian, salah satu daerah dalam negeri Johor.

The house used to represent Johor is actually a Bugis house like that available in Pontian, one of the districts in the state of Johor.

Ah. Kenapa pula diletakkan buyung ini di hadapan tangga? Kenapa ada pita putih merah sekali?

Ah. Why is this water pitcher left in front of the staircase? Why the red-white tape too?

Kemudian kelihatan kawasan dalam kurang teratur.
Then it appears the area inside is disorganised.

Apapun sedikit maklumat tentang rumah ini.

Whatever here is a bit of information on the house.

Walaupun rumah nampak berselerak, saya terus ke koridor utama yang turut membawa ke belakang. Baru saya faham kenapa ada buyung di hadapan tangga. Rupa-rupanya rumah Johor ini ditutup buat sementara waktu.

Although the house looks unkempt, I went on to the corridor which leads to the back. Now only do I understand why there is a water-pitcher in front of the staircase. As it turns out the Johor house is temporarily closed.
