Bersambung pula daripada artikel Makam (tomb of) Sheikh Sayyid Ahmad Marzuki...
Continuing in turn from the article Makam (tomb of) Sheikh Sayyid Ahmad Marzuki...

While on the way from Lubuk Pusing to the town of Sabak Bernam through the road called Jalan Sepintas, I saw this mosque which also looks rather interesting.

As it turns out the name of the mosque is also Marzukiyah, just like the one at Lubuk Pusing. It looks like the name Sheikh Sayyid Ahmad Marzuki is indeed famous in these areas.

Lihat kubahnya yang menarik...
Look at its interesting dome...

Mari masuk ke dalam...
Let us go inside...

Kelihatan ramai orang sedang tidur berehat.
One could see a number of people taking a rest by sleeping. From their clothings, it looks like they are followers of the Tabligh movement.
For information, Tabligh followers are used to travelling and lodging at mosques. Normally the mosques have its own unique spiritual feeling.

Dewan solat utama.
The main praying hall.

The pattern available at the supporting structures at the inside parts of the dome looks the same as what is available at Lubuk Pusing's Marzukiyah mosque, except it is more colourful!

Bahagian mimbar masjid. Cukuplah ya...
The front section of the mosque. Enough ya...

Makam (tomb of) Sheikh Sayyid Ahmad Marzuki

Di hadapan masjid terdapat bangunan makam ini...
In front of the mosque there exist this tomb building...

This is it the tomb of Sheikh Sayyid Ahmad Marzuki, a religious master which is rather famous in these areas.

Sebenarnya terdapat dua buah makam di sini.
Actually there exist two different tombs here.

Masjid (mosque of) Marzukiyah, Lubuk Pusing, Sabak Bernam

OK. Ini pula adalah Masjid Marzukiyah di Lubuk Pusing, dalam daerah Sabak Bernam, Selangor.
OK. This in turn is the mosque of Marzukiyah at Lubuk Pusing, in the district of Sabak Bernam, Selangor.

Lihat artikel Sebuah masjid lama di (and old mosque in) Langgar, Kedah...
The shape of its unique call to prayer tower reminds me of the tower at an old mosque near the royal mausoleum of Kedah in Langgar, the tower with a shape resembling that of the balai nobat building in the middle of the city of Alor Setar. Look at the article Sebuah masjid lama di (and old mosque in) Langgar, Kedah...

Di masjid ini terdapat dua menara sedemikian.
At this mosque there exist two such towers.

The dome of this mosque in turn follows the traditional shape of the Malay world which is like layered pyramids.

Serambi masjid...
The mosque's verandah...

To the right of the mosque one could see a pool which has its own unique story. God willing I will touch on it later in my Malay blogspot CATATAN SI MERAH SILU

Sebelum itu mari kita masuk ke dalam...
Before that let us go inside...

Dewan utama solat.

I was attracted to the carvings available on the supporting structures in the inside parts of the dome...

Rasanya gambar ini terang sedikit...
I believe this picture is slightly clearer...

Returning to the outside of the mosque. At the right side there also exist this pool for taking abolution.

Masjid Pulau Besar Perak lagi (The mosque of Pulau Besar Perak again)

Assalamuaikum semua.
Greetings all. Last weekend I went to Perak again and had the time to snap the pictures of a number mosque on the way. Just now I had a look again at the pictures to choose and arrange materials for upcoming articles. One of the mosque I wish to highlight is the mosque of Pulau Besar shown here. Then I realise that I have already made an article titled Masjid (mosque of) Pulau Besar, Perak... in this blogspot on 23rd July 2007 which is exactly two years ago.
Baca sahaja di Masjid (mosque of) Pulau Besar, Perak... ya. Sekian...
But it turned out that the old article did not feature much pictures to actually reflect the mosque's architecture. In fact it contained more pictures of 'sideshow' nature following a friend's own instinctivel take on it. So this time let me highlight pictures which are more suitable to reflect the art of the mosque. I think there's no need to add further stories. Just read what is in
Masjid (mosque of) Pulau Besar, Perak... ya. That's all...
