Masjid (Mosque of) Laksamana Hang Tuah, Duyung, Melaka

This in turn is from the trip to return to my native village in Muar the recent weekend.

Upon reaching the city of Melaka I made a stop at Kampung (village of) Duyung where lies this mosque.

According to the stories Kampung Duyung is the place where the legendary character Laksamana (something like the royal admiral) Hang Tuah grew up more than 500 years ago.

Rujuk pada artikel lama Perigi (well of) Hang Tuah, Masjid (mosque of) Duyung serta (and) Kampung Hulu.

This mosque was known as Masjid Kampung Duyung. Refer to the old article Perigi (well of) Hang Tuah, Masjid (mosque of) Duyung serta (and) Kampung Hulu. It seems it has been renamed as Masjid Jamek Laksamana Hang Tuah recently.

Mari lihat lebih dekat.

Let us have a closer look.
