Masjid (Mosque of) Sultan Ismail, Chendering, Kuala Terengganu

Bersambung dari Masjid (Mosque of) Rusila.
Continued from Masjid (Mosque of) Rusila.

Tidak lama kemudian kami sampai ke Chendering yang terletak berhampiran bandar raya Kuala Terengganu lalu singgah di masjidnya, Masjid Sultan Ismail.
Not long after we arrived at Chendering which is situated close to the city of Kuala Terengganu and stopped by at its mosque, Masjid (mosque of) Sultan Ismail.

Masjid baru ini nampaknya cuba meniru seni bina Masjid Putih di tengah Kuala Terengganu. Lihat artikel lama Masjid (Mosque of) Abidin, Kuala Terengganu.
This new mosque seems like it is trying to copy the architecture of Masjid Putih (the white mosque) in the middle of Kuala Terengganu. Look at the old article Masjid (Mosque of) Abidin, Kuala Terengganu.

Namun ia tetap memiliki nilai seninya yang tersendiri...
Still it does have its own art value...

Untuk pengetahuan masjid ini baru dirasmikan 16 Disember 2011.
For information this mosque was just officiated 16th December 2011.

Mari lihat ke dalam.
Let us look inside.

  1. Though the mosque had initially cost less, it escalated into many folds.Contractors had to be changed and the finishing was below par.For the amount they had spent they have built a mosque which did not see the future. The actual place of prayer is small and those who had planned were out to make money but did not think the mosque was built on an area where expansion is next to impossible.Already the Friday prayers sees congestion.Perhaps those who were behind the structure could give an explanation.
