Masjid Agung (Great mosque of) Sunan Ampel

Masuk hari kedua perjalanan Pulau Jawa 1-14 Mei.

Entering the second day of the Jawa island trip 1-14th May.

Rabu 2 Mei 2012 kami membuka hari dengan pergi ke masjid ini.

Wednesday 2nd May 2012 we opened the day by going to this mosque.

Selamat datang ke Masjid Agung Sunan Ampel, diberi nama sempena ketua para Wali Songo iaitu Sunan Ampel.

Welcome to Masjid Agung (great mosque of) Sunan Ampel, named after the head of the Wali Songo (the nine famous saints of Jawa) which is Sunan Ampel.

Bangunan asalnya dibina hampir 600 tahun lalu.

Its original building was built almost 500 years ago.

Kami sampai ketika masjid berkunci, maka cukuplah gambar-gambar ini ya.
