OK.
OK. Came the time for me to end the stories involving the trip to the East Coast 26 March-4 April.
Selasa 3 Mac 2012.
Tuesday 3rd March 2012. After spending the night in Lumut, Perak I then headed for the Teluk Intan and saw this mosque.
Ia adalah masjid di Batu 8, Lekir.
It is the mosque at Batu 8 (the 8th mile), Lekir.
Saya tertarik dengan bumbung bertingkatnya.
I was attracted by its multi-tiered roof.
What I like most are the carvings hanging from each corner.
Di pangkal menaranya juga ada sesuatu.
At the base of its tower there's also something.
There's a writing saying the village here was opened in the year 1798 which gives the impression this mosque or its original building was built around that. There's also writing in rememberance of the date of the independence of Tanah Melayu (the Malay states) from the hands of the (colonialists) British 31st August 1957.
Mari lihat ke dalam.
Let us have a look inside.
