Seterusnya kami pergi ke makam Sultan Syarif Ali.

Next we went to the tomb of Sultan Syarif Ali.

Baginda adalah Sultan yang memerintah Brunei 1426-1432 Masihi.
His majesty was the Sultan who ruled Brunei 1426-1432 Masihi.

Untuk pengetahuan, baginda adalah satu-satunya Sultan pemerintah kerajaan Melayu yang diiktiraf berasal dari keturunan Saidina Hassan, cucu sulung Nabi Muhammad SAW. Untuk makluman ada Sultan lain dari keturunan sama pernah memerintah di rantau ini tetapi nasab sebenar mereka dikaburkan atas sebab tertentu.

For information, his majesty was the only Sultan ruling a Malay kingdom who is recognised as being from the descendants of Saidina Hassan, the eldest grandchild of Prophet Muhammad SAW. For information there were other Sultans from the same lineage who used to rule in this region but their real genealogy are concealed for certain reasons.
