Hampir jam 11 pagi baru saya membawa anak dan isteri ke Masjid Raya Al-Mashun, masjid lama yang sangat terkenal di Medan malah seluruh Sumatera.

Almost 11 o'clock in morning then only I brought the child and wife to Masjid Raya (main mosque of) Al-Mashun, the old mosque which is very famous in Medan in fact the whole of Sumatera.

Ketika ini perkarangan masjid sudah lengang, tidak seperti awal pagi di mana jemaah terlalu ramai hingga melimpah ke tepi jalan untuk bersolat Aidil Adha.

At this moment the compound of the mosque is already empty, unlike early morning when the congregation was too many till it spilled to the roads for the Aidil Adha (Muslim festive day) prayers.

Di kiri kelihatan bangunan tempat mengambil wuduk.

To the left could be seen the building for making abolution.

Di kanan ada papan maklumat tentang masjid.

To the right there's an information board on the mosque.

Mari masuk ke bangunan mengambil wuduk.

Let us enter the building for taking abolution.

Sekarang baru masuk ke masjid.

Now only we enter the mosque.
