Continued from Makam (Tomb of) Sutan Puasa.

One more tomb which is interesting at the Ampang burial ground is this.

Lihat artikel-artikel lama Makam (Tomb of) Raja Berayun dan Masjid (mosque of) Raja Alang, Beranang.

Its owner is Raja Alang son of Raja Berayun, a warrior and leader from the Mandailing sub-race who lived from the 19th century to the 20th. Look at the old articles Makam (Tomb of) Raja Berayun and Masjid (mosque of) Raja Alang, Beranang.

Makam (Tomb of) Sutan Puasa

Di bahagian lain saya terlihat makam ini.
At another section I saw this tomb.

There's something that made me want to look closer.

Upon looking closer there's the name Sultan Puasa in Jawi writing. Ah, this is the Sultan Puasa who is mentioned in history books as one of the founders of Kuala Lumpur in the middle of the 19th century AD. According to the stories he was a Mandailing (a sub-race) noble from Sumatera who brought a number of followers to look for a new settlement and found the confluence of the Gombak river and Kelang river which was muddy. It is from there came about the name Kuala Lumpur (literally the muddy estuary).

Tanah perkuburan Islam (Muslim burial ground) Jalan Ampang

Selingan.
Intermission.

Yesterday I went to the Muslim burial ground at Jalan Ampang, in the middle of the city of Kuala Lumpur.

Could be seen rather many graves and tombs which stand out.

If I'm not mistaken this burial ground is the one and only owned by Muslims in the middle of this city.

It is understood it has been in existence since Kuala Lumpur was opened middle to the end of thw 19th century AD.

Verily there must be graves or tombs of important people. There are a few to be highlighted in articles after this. Meanwhile just look at the pictures available here...

One more article from the East Coast. Continued from Masjid jamek (Main mosque of) Jeli.

From Jeli I set my steps to get to Tanah Merah. On the way could be seen this rather interesting mosque.

Namanya Masjid As-Salam, letaknya di Jedok.
Its name is Masjid (Mosque of) As-Salam, it is situated in Jedok.
