OK. Adapun kami berjalan-jalan di Kota Tinggi itu pada hari Jumaat. Saya sempat bersolat Jumaat di masjid yang terletak di sebelah makam Sultan Mahmud Mangkat Dijulang.

OK. As it is we went around Kota Tinggi on Friday. I had the time to do the Jumaat (compulsory congregational) prayer at the mosque besides the tomb of Sultan Mahmud Mangkat Dijulang (the famous ruler who got killed while being carried on a pedestal).

Disebabkan kewujudan makam baginda maka kampung di sekitar dipanggil Kampung Makam. Nama rasmi masjid ini adalah Masjid Al-Hadi, Kampung Makam.

Because of the existence of his majesty's tomb the village around is called Kampung (village of) Makam (the tomb). The formal name of this mosque is Masjid (mosque of) Al-Hadi, Kampung Makam.
