Sultan Selim II who had sent military aid to Aceh 1567.


Born in 1524 his majesty ascended the throne in 1566 and ruled till 1574.

Illustration of Aceh cannons which was seized by the Dutch who then brought it back to their country after 1873. Aceh received the help of Turkey to make quality cannons sinces the 16th century.

Information on Sultan Sulaiman Al-Qanuni (known in the West as Suleyman the Magnificent) who ruled 1520-1566. During his majesty's time the Turkey Ottoman Empire has already been recognised as the centre of the caliphate for Muslims worldwide. Sultan Sulaiman extended the power of the empire much further. It was then that Aceh started to build a relationship with Turkey.

Sultan Selim II was the son of Sultan Sulaiman. This is Sultan Selim's decree to help Aceh.
