Buku keempat bertajuk "Rumah Azan". Diterbitkan April 2009 oleh syarikat Karnadya dengan pertolongan Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, buku ini memaparkan gambar-gambar cantik berserta cerita di sebalik masjid-masjid terpilih yang boleh dikaitkan dengan sejarah Melayu Islam dan pembentukan negara Malaysia.

The fourth book titled "Rumah Azan". Published in April 2009 by the company Karnadya with the help of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, this book features beautiful pictures along with stories behind selected mosques which could be related to the history of Islam and the Malays and the formation of the nation of Malaysia.

Buku kelima saya "Ahlul Bait (Family) of Rasulullah SAW and Malay Sultanates" diterbitkan awal 2010. Ia merupakan terjemahan buku "Ahlul Bait (Keluarga) Rasulullah SAW dan Kesultanan Melayu" karangan Hj Muzaffar Mohamad dan Tun Suzana Othman ke dalam bahasa Inggeris untuk pasaran antarabangsa.

My fifth book "Ahlul Bait (Family) of Rasulullah SAW and Malay Sultanates" was published early 2010. It is a translation of the Malay-language book "Ahlul Bait (Keluarga) Rasulullah SAW dan Kesultanan Melayu" authored by Hj Muzaffar Mohamad and Tun Suzana Othman turned into English for the international market.

Seperti buku ke-empat saya "Rumah Azan", buku ke-enam "Kereta Api Menuju Destinasi" juga adalah buku mewah yang diterbitkan oleh syarikat Karnadya dengan kerjasama Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka. Keluar Januari 2011 ia memaparkan gambar dan cerita tentang pengembaraan menaiki keretapi ke seluruh Semenanjung Malaysia berserta tempat-tempat menarik yang boleh dicapai dengan cara ini.

Like my fourth book "Rumah Azan", the sixth book "Kereta Api Menuju Destinasi" is also a coffee-table book which is published by the company Karnadya with the cooperation of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (the main Malay literary body in Malaysia). Coming out January 2011 it features pictures and stories on the adventure travelling by train to all of Peninsular Malaysia along with the interesting places which could be reached this way.

Buku ketujuh saya "Jejak keluarga Yakin : Satu sketsa sejarah" pula ada sebuah coffee-table book atau buku mewah yang ditulis, disunting, direkaletak dan gambar-gambarnya diambil sendiri oleh saya. Keluar dari kilang Oktober 2011, buku yang menggabungkan sejarah keluarga dengan sejarah tempat-tempat seperti Singapura, Johor, Batu Pahat, Muar malah ada sejarah Pulau Jawa dan Inggeris sekali ini telah diulas dengan saya ditemu ramah secara langsung dalam program Selamat Pagi Malaysia di RTM1. My seventh book "Jejak keluarga Yakin : Satu sketsa sejarah" in turn is a coffee-table book which is written, editted, designed and has pictures taken by me. Coming out of the factory October 2011, this book which combines family history with history of places such as Singapura, Johor, Batu Pahat, Muar and in fact the history of the island of Java and England has been reviewed with me interviewed live in the program Selamat Pagi Malaysia at RTM1. Sempena menyambut Hari Raya Aidilfitri esok, biarlah saya buat satu siri postings di sini untuk menyokong satu siri penceritaan yang akan dibuat di blogspot CATATAN SI MERAH SILU sebentar nanti. Maka biar postings ini dibuat tanpa banyak penerangan ya... Dimulakan dengan ini, sebuah masjid dengan rekabentuk unik di Ulu Dong, Raub, Pahang yang menjadi markas satu perkumpulan tariqat Naqshabandiah-Khalidiyah. Mari! :]

Commemorating the Aidilfitri (first day of the Muslim festive months of Syawal) tomorrow, let me do a series of postings here to support a series of story-telling which would be made in the blogspot CATATAN SI MERAH SILU slightly afterwards. Masjid Bandar yang sebenar (The real Bandar mosque)

Assalamualaikum. Artikel ini dibuat sebagai pembetulan kepada artikel Masjid (mosque of) Bandar, Perak? yang dibuat 3 hari lepas. Gambar-gambar adalah sumbangan saudara Zam. Mari! :]
Peace be upon you all. This article is made as a correction for the article Masjid (mosque of) Bandar, Perak? made 3 days ago. The pictures here were contributed by our friend Zam. Come! :]

Saudara Zam yang pernah memberitahu tentang kewujudan Masjid Bandar telah melihat artikel Masjid (mosque of) Bandar, Perak? lalu mendapati yang tertera di situ adalah sebuah masjid lain!

Our friend Zam who have told us about the existence of the mosque of Bandar have seen the article Masjid (mosque of) Bandar, Perak? and found what is shown there is actually a different mosque!

Katanya, kami sepatutnya pergi lagi sedikit ke selatan melalui ladang kelapa sawit sebelum berjumpa Masjid Bandar yang sebenar...

He said, we should have gone a bit more further down south through a palm oil estate before coming across the real mosque of Bandar...

Inilah Masjid Bandar...

Mungkin ia tidak secantik masjid yang tertera dalam artikel Masjid (mosque of) Bandar, Perak? tetapi yang nyata, ia telah wujud lebih lama...

Maybe it is not as beautiful as the mosque shown in the article Masjid (mosque of) Bandar, Perak? but what is sure, it have existed much longer...

Dan di sini juga terdapat makam seorang ulamak terkenal bernama Sheikh Muhammad Taib Minangkabau. Seorang puterinya telah berkahwin dengan almarhum Raja Muda Musa ibni Sultan Ja'afar dan dari perkahwinan itu muncul Sultan ke-31 Perak, Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (memerintah 1938-1948). Sekian! :]

And here also lies the tomb of a reknowned Islamic scholar whose name is Sheikh Muhammad Taib Minangkabau. His daughter married the late Raja Muda Musa ibni Sultan Ja'afar and from the marriage came the 31st Sultan of Perak, Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (ruled 1938-1948). That's all! :]

Setelah puas hati dengan penemuan masjid unik di Kampung Bandar kami pun menghala kembali ke utara untuk masuk ke kompleks sejarah Pasir Salak. Kelihatan di sini ialah muzium utama di dalam...

After we were satisfied of having found the unique mosque in Kampung Bandar we then headed back up north to get to the Pasir Salak historical complex. Seen here is the main museum inside...

Ini adalah gambar pakaian Puteri Perak di serambinya. Pengunjung dilarang mengambil gambar di dalam... Jadi kami pun patuh!

This is a picture of the Puteri Perak traditional clothing at its verandah. Visitors are not allowed to take pictures... And so we obliged!

Tetapi apabila sampai ke galeri keris di tingkat bawah, kami tidak dapat menahan diri...

But when we reached the keris (traditional Malay blades) gallery at the lower level, we couldn't stop ourselves...

Maka terimalah gambar-gambar ini!

So please accept these pictures!

Sampai pada satu bahagian, tiba-tiba muncul seorang pahlawan entah dari mana entah... Dengan senjata apa entah tersisip dipinggangnya. Mak oooiiii!!! :]

Came a certain section, suddenly there appears a warrior from who knows where... With who knows what sort of weapon hanging out from his sides. What the heck!!! :]

Apapun, seperti kami, 'pahlawan' itu juga peminat senjata lama Melayu. Sekian! :]

Whatever, like us, the 'warrior' is a fan of old Malay weapons. That's all! :]
