Sebenarnya kami tidak berniat untuk singgah ke surau ini... Kami cuma lalu melepasinya dan ternampak sebuah bangunan yang agak menarik rekabentuknya. Ternyata selepas itu kami terjumpa jalan mati. Terpaksalah berpatah balik melalui bangunan ini lalu kami anggap ia sebagai isyarat untuk singgah ke bangunan ini.
Actually we don't have any intention to visit this surau. We just passed by and notice a building with rather interesting architectute. That's when we came across a dead end. Had to turn back and pass this building again so we took it as a signal to drop by.
It's only upon closer inspection that we realise it is a surau. The name is Surau Hamidiah, Kampung Padang Changkat.
The surau had a certain aura of attraction. Not sure why but my heart told me, it was once a place for people of olden days to pray and meditate to achieve nearness to God.
We rest a bit and did the Tahiyatul Masjid prayers (a non-obligatory prayer done as a sign of respect at a mosque or a praying hall).

This is a view of the front courtyard. Beautiful isn't it? Oh... Right in front here is the monument with the replica of a spear as seen in previous posting. That's all!
