Buku keempat bertajuk "Rumah Azan". Diterbitkan April 2009 oleh syarikat Karnadya dengan pertolongan Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, buku ini memaparkan gambar-gambar cantik berserta cerita di sebalik masjid-masjid terpilih yang boleh dikaitkan dengan sejarah Melayu Islam dan pembentukan negara Malaysia.

The fourth book titled "Rumah Azan". Published in April 2009 by the company Karnadya with the help of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, this book features beautiful pictures along with stories behind selected mosques which could be related to the history of Islam and the Malays and the formation of the nation of Malaysia.

Buku kelima saya "Ahlul Bait (Family) of Rasulullah SAW and Malay Sultanates" diterbitkan awal 2010. Ia merupakan terjemahan buku "Ahlul Bait (Keluarga) Rasulullah SAW dan Kesultanan Melayu" karangan Hj Muzaffar Mohamad dan Tun Suzana Othman ke dalam bahasa Inggeris untuk pasaran antarabangsa.

My fifth book "Ahlul Bait (Family) of Rasulullah SAW and Malay Sultanates" was published early 2010. It is a translation of the Malay-language book "Ahlul Bait (Keluarga) Rasulullah SAW dan Kesultanan Melayu" authored by Hj Muzaffar Mohamad and Tun Suzana Othman turned into English for the international market.

Seperti buku ke-empat saya "Rumah Azan", buku ke-enam "Kereta Api Menuju Destinasi" juga adalah buku mewah yang diterbitkan oleh syarikat Karnadya dengan kerjasama Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka. Keluar Januari 2011 ia memaparkan gambar dan cerita tentang pengembaraan menaiki keretapi ke seluruh Semenanjung Malaysia berserta tempat-tempat menarik yang boleh dicapai dengan cara ini.

Like my fourth book "Rumah Azan", the sixth book "Kereta Api Menuju Destinasi" is also a coffee-table book which is published by the company Karnadya with the cooperation of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (the main Malay literary body in Malaysia). Coming out January 2011 it features pictures and stories on the adventure travelling by train to all of Peninsular Malaysia along with the interesting places which could be reached this way.

Buku ketujuh saya "Jejak keluarga Yakin : Satu sketsa sejarah" pula ada sebuah coffee-table book atau buku mewah yang ditulis, disunting, direkaletak dan gambar-gambarnya diambil sendiri oleh saya. Keluar dari kilang Oktober 2011, buku yang menggabungkan sejarah keluarga dengan sejarah tempat-tempat seperti Singapura, Johor, Batu Pahat, Muar malah ada sejarah Pulau Jawa dan Inggeris sekali ini telah diulas dengan saya ditemu ramah secara langsung dalam program Selamat Pagi Malaysia di RTM1. My seventh book "Jejak keluarga Yakin : Satu sketsa sejarah" in turn is a coffee-table book which is written, editted, designed and has pictures taken by me. Coming out of the factory October 2011, this book which combines family history with history of places such as Singapura, Johor, Batu Pahat, Muar and in fact the history of the island of Java and England has been reviewed with me interviewed live in the program Selamat Pagi Malaysia at RTM1. Makam raja-raja Darul Kamal (Tombs of the rulers of Darul Kamal)

Salam Jumaat. Masuk hari ke-3 perjalanan di Aceh 23-30 Mac.

Peace be upon you this Friday. Entering the 3rd day of the Aceh trip 23-30 Mac.

Selasa 25 Mac 2014. Kami mengambil satu jalan pendalaman kampung keluar dari Banda Aceh lalu singgah di kompleks pemakaman ini.

Tuesday 25th Mac 2014. We took an inland rural road out of Banda Aceh and stopped by at this tomb complex.

Ia adalah kawasan pemakaman raja-raja Darul Kamal.

It is the tomb area for the rulers of Darul Kamal.

Darul Kamal adalah sebuah kerajaan lama yang pernah berdiri sendiri lebih 500 tahun lalu.

Darul Kamal was an old kingdom which used to stand independently more than 500 years ago.

Sekitar tahun 1490 ia diserapkan ke dalam kerajaan Mahkota Alam yang sedang diperintah Sultan Munawar Syah.

Around the year 1490 it was absorbed into the kingdom of Mahkota Alam which was then ruled by Sultan Munawar Syah.

Cucunya Sultan Ali Mughayat Syah yang menaiki takhta sekitar 1511 pula menggabungkan Mahkota Alam dengan beberapa kerajaan lain untuk membentuk kerajaan besar Aceh Darussalam.

His grandson Sultan Ali Mughayat Syah who ascended the throne around 1511 in turn combined Mahkota Alam with a number of other kingdoms to form the big kingdom of Aceh Darussalam.

Masjid (Mosque of) Al-Mujib, Lhoknga

Lewat petang itu kami pergi ke pantai Lampuuk untuk melihat pemandangan matahari terbenam di Lautan Hindi. Lihat artikel To Lampuuk beach again for the sunset di blogspot BERPETUALANG KE ACEH. Selepas itu kami ke masjid ini untuk bersolat Maghrib.

Late in the afternoon we went to the beach of Lampuuk to look at the view of the sun setting into the Indian Ocean. Look at the article To Lampuuk beach again for the sunset at the blogspot BERPETUALANG KE ACEH. Then we went to this mosque for Maghrib (after sunset) prayers.

Rekabentuknya seperti masjid lama berusia hampir 100 tahun.

Its design is like that of an old mosque almost 100 years old.

Tetapi masjid bernama Al-Mujib di Lhoknga ini sebenarnya dibina selepas Tsunami melanda Aceh 26 Disember 2004.

But this mosque named Al-Mujib in Lhoknga was actually built after the Tsunami affected Aceh 26th December 2004.

Ia adalah makam Sultan Iskandar Thani yang memerintah Aceh 1636-1641.

It is the tomb of Sultan Iskandar Thani who ruled Aceh 1636-1641.

Baginda adalah anak raja Pahang yang diambil sebagai anak angkat kemudian menantu oleh pemerintah Aceh sebelumnya, Sultan Iskandar Muda.

His majesty was the son of a ruler of Pahang who was taken as an adopted son then son-in-law of the previous Aceh ruler, Sultan Iskandar Muda.

Adapun pusat kerajaan awal tadi terletak berdekatan kawasan atau kampung yang dipanggil Kandang Aceh. Di situ juga terdapat satu kawasan besar berlumpur menghadap laut.

As it is the site of the centre of the said early kingdom is located at an area or village which is called Banda Aceh. There also lies a big muddy area facing the sea.

Terdapat banyak makam-makam lama dikelilingi atau diliputi lumpur.

There lies many old tombs surrounded or covered by mud.

Batu-batu nesan yang kelihatan adalah dari jenis yang cuma digunakan golongan bangsawan, ulamak besar dan kerabat diraja.

The tombstones seen are from the types which are only used for those from nobility, major religious masters and members of the royalty.

Ini menunjukkan kawasan ini menempatkan ramai golongan atasan.

This shows that this area housed many from the upper class.

Cuma perubahan muka bumi termasuk akibat ombak besar Tsunami 26 Disember 2004 telah merubah keadaan.

It's just changes in geography including that due to the big waves of the Tsunami of 26 December 2004 have changed conditions.

Kemungkinan kawasan ini pernah menjadi sebuah kota besar.

Seterusnya kami ke kawasan lain berhampiran kuala Sungai Aceh.

Next we went to another area close to the mouth of the Aceh river.

Kelihatan satu monumen yang tak sebesar mana.

Could be seen a monument of hardly any size.

Namun ia satu penanda penting sejarah lama.

Still it is an important historical pointer.

Katanya di sinilah kerajaan awal Aceh bermula lebih 800 tahun lalu.
It is said that here the early Aceh kingdom started more than 800 years ago.

Dengan terbukanya pagar kayu yang pernah menutupi makam Sheikh Abdul Rauf bersama makam 3 orang anak muridnya dapatlah saya melihat lebih dekat sebuah makam seorang pembesar Aceh yang dikenali sebagai Maharajalela Abdul Rahim.

With the opening of the wooden fence which used to cover the tomb of Sheikh Abdul Rauf along with the tombs of 3 of his disciples I can now have a closer look at the tomb of the Aceh official known as Maharajalela Abdul Rahim.

Setakat saya tahu beliau adalah orang pertama memakai gelaran Maharajalela di Aceh. Ibu dan ayahnya pula bergelar Laksamana iaitu Laksamana Zainal Abidin dan Laksamana Raja Kemalahayati. Dari beliau ini harus muncul keluarga Maharajalela yang disebut pada artikel Makam (Tomb of) Maharajalela, Aceh, dibuat 5 hari lalu.

As far as I know he is the first person to carry the title Maharajalela in Aceh. His mother and father in turn carried the title Laksamana (akin to royal admiral), that is Laksamana Zainal Abidin and Laksamana Raja Kemalahayati. From him should be issued the Maharajalela family as mentioned in the article Makam (Tomb of) Maharajalela, Aceh, made 5 days ago.

Maharajalela Abdul Rahim juga katanya ada memakai gelaran Laksamana. Beliau berkahwin dengan Sultanah Naqiatuddin, raja perempuan kedua Aceh (memerintah 1675-1677).

Maharajalela Abdul Rahim is also said to have used the title Laksamana. He married Sultanah Naqiatuddin, the second female ruler of Aceh (ruled 1675-1677).

Anaknya, Maharajalela Ahmad menaiki takhta Aceh 1727. Lalu muncullah apa yang dipanggil raja-raja Aceh dinasti Bugis.
His son Maharajalela Ahmad ascended the throne of Aceh 1727. Thus is issued what is called rulers of Aceh from the Bugis dynasty.

Pagi Isnin 24 Mac 2014. Kami menuju ke makam ulamak besar Aceh yang dikenali sebagai Syiah Kuala.

Monday morning 24th March 2014. We went to the tomb of the major religious master of Aceh who is known as Syiah Kuala.

Nama sebenar beliau adalah Sheikh Abdul Rauf.

His real name is Sheikh Abdul Rauf.

Terdapat sejumlah makam orang lain di sini.

There exists a number of other people's tombs here.

Kompleks pemakaman ini ada ditunjukkan dalam artikel Makam (tomb of) Syiah Kuala yang dibuat 5 tahun lalu. Kini ia telah diperbaiki menjadi lebih kemas dan cantik.

Dahulunya makam Sheikh Abdul Rauf dilindungi pagar kayu tinggi bersama makam 3 orang anak muridnya. Kini ia terletak bersendirian dalam pagar besi. Al-Fatihah...
