Buku keempat bertajuk "Rumah Azan". Diterbitkan April 2009 oleh syarikat Karnadya dengan pertolongan Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, buku ini memaparkan gambar-gambar cantik berserta cerita di sebalik masjid-masjid terpilih yang boleh dikaitkan dengan sejarah Melayu Islam dan pembentukan negara Malaysia.
The fourth book titled "Rumah Azan". Published in April 2009 by the company Karnadya with the help of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, this book features beautiful pictures along with stories behind selected mosques which could be related to the history of Islam and the Malays and the formation of the nation of Malaysia.
Buku kelima saya "Ahlul Bait (Family) of Rasulullah SAW and Malay Sultanates" diterbitkan awal 2010. Ia merupakan terjemahan buku "Ahlul Bait (Keluarga) Rasulullah SAW dan Kesultanan Melayu" karangan Hj Muzaffar Mohamad dan Tun Suzana Othman ke dalam bahasa Inggeris untuk pasaran antarabangsa.
My fifth book "Ahlul Bait (Family) of Rasulullah SAW and Malay Sultanates" was published early 2010. It is a translation of the Malay-language book "Ahlul Bait (Keluarga) Rasulullah SAW dan Kesultanan Melayu" authored by Hj Muzaffar Mohamad and Tun Suzana Othman turned into English for the international market.
Seperti buku ke-empat saya "Rumah Azan", buku ke-enam "Kereta Api Menuju Destinasi" juga adalah buku mewah yang diterbitkan oleh syarikat Karnadya dengan kerjasama Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka. Keluar Januari 2011 ia memaparkan gambar dan cerita tentang pengembaraan menaiki keretapi ke seluruh Semenanjung Malaysia berserta tempat-tempat menarik yang boleh dicapai dengan cara ini. Like my fourth book "Rumah Azan", the sixth book "Kereta Api Menuju Destinasi" is also a coffee-table book which is published by the company Karnadya with the cooperation of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (the main Malay literary body in Malaysia). Coming out January 2011 it features pictures and stories on the adventure travelling by train to all of Peninsular Malaysia along with the interesting places which could be reached this way.
Buku ketujuh saya "Jejak keluarga Yakin : Satu sketsa sejarah" pula ada sebuah coffee-table book atau buku mewah yang ditulis, disunting, direkaletak dan gambar-gambarnya diambil sendiri oleh saya. Keluar dari kilang Oktober 2011, buku yang menggabungkan sejarah keluarga dengan sejarah tempat-tempat seperti Singapura, Johor, Batu Pahat, Muar malah ada sejarah Pulau Jawa dan Inggeris sekali ini telah diulas dengan saya ditemu ramah secara langsung dalam program Selamat Pagi Malaysia di RTM1. My seventh book "Jejak keluarga Yakin : Satu sketsa sejarah" in turn is a coffee-table book which is written, editted, designed and has pictures taken by me. Coming out of the factory October 2011, this book which combines family history with history of places such as Singapura, Johor, Batu Pahat, Muar and in fact the history of the island of Java and England has been reviewed with me interviewed live in the program Selamat Pagi Malaysia at RTM1. Makam yang dilawati kali ini terletak di tepian Sungai Perak dalam kawasan yang sangat bersemak dan berhutan... Berdekatan dengan Kampung Sungai Durian.
The tomb visited this time lies beside the Perak river in an area covered with quite thick growth of jungle and bushes... Near the village of Sungai Durian.
Saya menghadapi sedikit masalah mencari makam ini kerana kedudukannya yang terperosok dalam belukar...
I had some problems trying to find this tomb as the position is very much hidden behind thick growth...
Nasib baik masih ada batu nesan berserta kepuk kawasan makam...
Luckily the gravestones still exist and so are parts of the tomb building...
Untuk pengetahuan, makam ini berusia lebih 200 tahun! Apapun ia bukannya alasan untuk membiarkan ia bersemak kerana ada lagi makam-makam yang lebih tua tetapi terjaga elok di merata tempat...
For information, this tomb is more than 200 years old! Whatever this is no excuse to leave it unattended and full of bushes as there are still much older tombs in many places which are well-kept and looked after...
Ia milik seorang pembesar istana yang dikenali sebagai Laksamana Raja Mahkota Tok Jambu. Beliau dikatakan memiliki beberapa kelebihan yang luar biasa lalu selepas meninggal dunia dan dimakamkan di sini dikenali sebagai Keramat Sungai Durian...
It belongs to a palace nobleman and official known as Laksamana Raja Mahkota Tok Jambu. He is said to possess some magical powers and thus when he died and was buried here, he came to be known as Keramat (saintly person) of Sungai Durian...
Lagipun anak perempuan beliau, Che Pusa Putih berkahwin dengan Sultan ke 18 Perak, Sultan Ahmadin Shah dan menjadi permaisuri utama baginda (raja ini memiliki beberapa orang isteri termasuk seorang lagi anak Laksamana Tok Jambu, kalau tak salah selepas Che Pusa Putih meninggal dunia. Agama Islam melarang seseorang lelaki berkahwin dengan dua wanita adik-beradik pada satu masa!). Lalu hampir semua Sultan-sultan Perak dan kerabat diraja terdekat kemudian hingga kini berasal daripada keturunan beliau. Sekian! :]
Furthermore his daughter, Che Pusa Putih was married to the 18th Sultan of Perak, Sultan Ahmadin Shah and became his main consort or the queen (this ruler had several wives including another daughter of Laksamana Tok Jambu, if I'm not mistaken after Che Pusa Putih passed away. The religion of Islam forbids any man from marrying two sisters at the same time!). And so almost all later Sultans of Perak and closest members of the royalty till today came from his blood-line. That's all! :])
Pada 25 Mei lalu saya telah pergi ke Bagan Datoh, Perak lalu terlihat masjid ini...
On the last 25th May, I went to Bagan Datoh, Perak and saw this mosque...
Rekabentuknya ternyata menarik lalu saya serta seorang sepupu dan rakannya pun singgah sebentar...
Its design prove to be interesting and so me and a cousin and his friend decided to stop for a while...
Lagipun kami perlu menunaikan solat Zohor dijamakkan dengan solat Asar...
Besides we have to do the Zohor prayers combined with Asar prayers (both are obligatory day-time prayers for Muslims)...
Pada saya, yang paling menarik adalah rekabentuk seperti lidah tergantung yang terdapat pada sudut bumbung. Tetapi tidak seperti di masjid-masjid lainyang terdapat rekabentuk ini di mana ia adalah ukiran kayu, di masjid ini pula ia dibuat daripada kimpalan besi!
For me, the most interesting thing about this mosque is the tounge-like designs hanging from the corners of the roof. But unlike in other mosque where I found the same sort of design made by carving wood, the one here on the other hand is made from metal cuttings and weldings!
Kami masuk ke dalam untuk bersolat. Baru kami tahu nama masjid ini ialah Masjid Abasiah...
We went inside for our prayers, That's when we found out the name of the mosque is the Abasiah mosque...
Melihatkan sejadah dengan rupa "masjid mata" ini saya tertawa sendirian. Dalam pada itu saya tertanya-tanya, apakah nama masjid ini diberi sempena seorang yang bernama Abas? Atau ia sepatutnya dieja sebagai "Masjid Abbasiyah" kerana mengingatkan kerajaan Daulah Abbasiyah yang pernah memimpin ummah lebih 700 tahun lalu?
Looking at the prayer mat which has the look of "eye mosque" (just my own imagination... What if mosque have an eye each on top?) made me laugh by myself. At the same time, I'm wondering if the name of the mosque is given based on someone whose name is Abas? Or maybe it should have been spelt "Masjid Abbasiyah" (mosque of Abbasiyah) in remembrance of the Daulah Abbasiyah (Abbasiyah family) who used to rule the Muslims more than 700 years ago?
Apapun, memang masjid ini menarik... Dan saya pula lega dapat memecah kesunyian di sini dengan gambar-gambar ini. Sekian! :]

Daripada makam Sheikh Muhammad Said Linggi di Seremban kami bergegas ke Rembau seterusnya ke Astana untuk menziarahi makam Raja Melewar... Sampai di sana sudah gelap, sekitar jam 8 malam. Maka beginilah rupa gambar-gambar yang dapat kami tangkap... Itupun nasib baik dapat dengan menggunakan fungsi Infrared pada video kamera milik rakan saya PerpatihTulus @ Zaidi...
From the tomb of Sheikh Muhammad Said Linggi in Seremban we rushed to Rembau and then to Astana to visit the tomb of Raja Melewar... We arrived there in the dark, sometime around 8 pm. So this is how the pictures we took looks like... Still at least we managed to take some using the Infrared function on the video camera owned by my friend PerpatihTulus @ Zaidi...

Ulamak yang dimaksudkan dikenali sebagai Sheikh Muhammad Said Linggi.
The scholar in question is known by the name Sheikh Muhammad Said Linggi.
Beliau juga dikenali sebagai seorang wali yang penuh dengan karamah!
He is also known as a saint with many blessings and charismatic miracles!
Anak-anak, cucu-cucu dan keturunannya juga dikenali sebagai orang-orang alim. Ramai daripada mereka menjadi para ulamak utama di Negeri Sembilan. Sekian! :]
His children, grandchildren and descendants are also known as pious men. Many of them became the leading religious scholars in Negeri Sembilan. That's all! :]

But it turns out what's there is an old cannon, owned by someone known as Datuk Undang Abdullah...

Adapun (almarhum) Datuk Undang Abdullah adalah Undang luak Sungai Ujong yang ke 12. Meriam ini yang dikatakan sebuah meriam keramat ditemui beliau di Titi, Jelebu lalu dibawa ke sini...
For information (the late) Datuk Undang Abdullah is the Undang (a noble chief title) of the district of Sungai Ujong, the 12th one that is. This cannon which is said to be a miraculous and magical cannon was found by him in Titi, Jelebu but carried and set up here...

Di tepi jalan itu terletak sebuah lagi tinggalan utama sejarah Negeri Sembilan, iaitu makam Moyang Salleh...
Just by the road-side, there lies another significant historical monument of Negeri Sembilan, that is the tomb of Moyang Salleh...
Moyang Salleh terkenal dengan peristiwa memutus tali ke negeri Johor hampir 300 tahun lalu. Jika sebelum itu, daerah Jelebu dan wilayah-wilayah sekitarnya terletak di bawah penguasaan empayar Johor-Riau, selepas itu ia merdeka dan boleh berdiri sebagai kerajaan sendiri...
The person known as Moyang Salleh is famous for the eventful "severing the ties from the state of Johor" almost 300 years ago. If before that, the district of Jelebu and its surrounding provinces where under the rule of the Johor-Riau empire, after that it is free and could stand as independent nations...
Inilah makam Moyang Salleh, seorang pemimpin Jelebu yang gagah berani... Yang menurut cerita nya memiliki pelbagai kuasa hikmat!
This is the tomb of Moyang Salleh, a strong and brave leader of Jelebu... Who according to the stories possess plenty of magical powers!
Menurut ceritanya lagi, kuasa hikmat beliau dan beberapa orang pengikutnya telah berjaya menakutkan Sultan Johor dalam satu lawatan mereka ke Istana Johor. Inilah yang menyebabkan baginda mengisytiharkan Jelebu dan daerah sekitarnya merdeka daripada Johor... Keadaan inilah yang menyebabkan sebuah gabungan negeri-negeri kecil yang dipanggil sebagai Negeri Sembilan dapat muncul nanti! Sekian... :]
According to the stories furthermore, his magical powers and that of some of his followers managed to scare the Sultan of Johor in a visit they made to the palace of Johor. This is what made the king proclaimed Jelebu and the surrounding districts as independent from Johor. It is this condition which later caused a confederate of small nations to appear under the name Negeri Sembilan later! That's all... :]

Papantanda di hadapannya menyebut ia adalah masjid paling tua dalam daerah Jelebu, dibina dalam abad ke 16 Masihi!The signboards in front said it is the oldest mosque in the district of Jelebu, built in the 16th Century AD!
Melihat bentuk bangunan ini, rasanya ia bukanlah bangunan asal yang mungkin sudah lama reput...
Looking at this building, I believe it is not the original building which could have long fall rotten...
Apapun, masjid ini dianggap mempunyai kelebihan dan karamahnya yang tersendiri... Menurut ceritanya, semasa ia dibina, tiba-tiba muncul sebuah dulang makanan di satu sudut berisi jamuan untuk dimakan oleh mereka yang sibuk mendirikan masjid ini!
Whatever, the mosque is regarded as having its attractions, in fact charismatic miracles of its own... According to the tales, when it was built, suddenly there appeared a tray with dishes of food at one corner for the meal of those who were busy building this mosque!
Sayangnya, kamera digital murah saya tidak dapat menangkap gambar di dalam dengan terang. Dulang ajaib itu dikatakan muncul tiap-tiap hari, setiap kali dengan hidangan makanan yang baru untuk para pekerja menikmatinya sehingga puas! Dulang ini terus muncul setiap hari untuk hidangan para pengunjung selepas bangunan asal masjid ini siap dibina lebih 400 tahun lalu. Beberapa tahun kemudian barulah ia hilang... Cukup.. :] Too bad, my cheap digital camera couldn't catch the picture inside clearly. The magical tray is said to have appeared every day, everytime with a new set of dishes for all the workers to enjoy to their heart's content! The tray still appear everyday to fill the stomachs of visitors even after the original building for this mosque was completed more than 400 years ago. It only disappeared a few years later... Enough... :]
